what I notice is that the inverter ACs trips off at intervals though I don't know if it's all but the normal ACs will continue to work gbalaja like one way only if lights fluctuates or voltage drops then the compressor takes a while for it to pick up again else but would prefer inverter AC overall because of its low power consumption and don't try to use a 2.2kva gen for 1hp AC even the 3kva self isn't advisable because if the gen are still new it will be deceiving you but overtime the engine will wear out except some that has bigger coil because some gen like elepaq 3ka might come with small coil whereas a maxi of the same 3kva will come with a bigger coil which makes it more powerful than the elepaq

I do use my 2.2kva gen of 3 years old to pump water with a 1hp submasible pump.

I once tried it with my neighbor’s A/C and Freezer together and it worked without even changing sound and it was in lowest, though I’m not sure if his A/C is inverter.

For avoidance of doubt I will try it again with ordinary A/C of 1hp

That is true. An inverter air conditioner takes the room to the designated temperature and stops working. It comes on again if the temperature rises. A regular AC works without any break so the cooling effect is greater.

I've actually seen a very low wattage inverter iron in one Alhaji's house. I can't remember the exact wattage but it's less than 300w. Said he got it from Dubai and it's been serving him well.
Probably you can order to buy from Alibaba or AliExpress through sellers that buyers have given good ratings.

350w - 400w is fair. Mine is 1200W I use it with my gen, but this morning while I wanted to use it the gen sound terrible, I couldn’t stand it
