What this government is doing is diverting funds from critical sectors for this project. To be clear, this is not a bad project - we can use a new road. But it is not a priority. There are far too many federal roads that are dilapidated. And last year, we heard that the health budget was funded to only –was it 7%? Other sectors too suffered. These are the issues.
