Everyone who voted for him should feel ashamed, but they won't.

I'm not sure Iran is elite, but they do have leverage which makes them a power.
They have shown why every other President was right to choose the path of diplomacy.
Until the US gets serious about renewable energy, Iran will always have us by the balls.
But the US is also beholden to the oil and gas companies so not sure how we square that circle.

As a Nigerian American I would prefer no other country have nuclear weapons but the US.
But it is hard to dictate to other countries that they can't have Nuclear weapons when you have one and Israel does as well.
We have to get serious as well about nonproliferation treaties.

If Obi had sat down to carefully study recent political history of Nigeria from 1999, he would have learnt that Only Obasanjo and Jonathan rose to office without real political structure but by either luck or backing of the Northern Oligarchy and their Southern collaborators. Tinubu and Buhari on the other hand took the pain of first converting their organic support to a registered party with which they negotiated alliances that brought them to power. Atiku 's perennial ambition failure is his lack of will, just like Obi, to carefully and patiently grow his organic support into a formidable national outlook party but always jumping ship from one party to another.
