@op given 2 inverters with specifications 3.5kva/24v and 3.5kva/12v which will you prefer and what are your reasons?

I will personally go for the 24vdc model. It's easier to upgrade without much hassle when it comes to charging. Additionally, the lower the voltage the higher the current and higher current means you will require a thicker gauge cable for the installation and this invariably increases cost.
