Lithiumite: Nobody stops you from protesting, there are different forms of protest one of which you are already doing.
You are complaining of hunger without first understanding the major reasons for this.....the naira has been devalued and you can't reverse such policy even if you want to overnight or just with the wave of the hand.... devaluation has it's advantages and disadvantages,it depends which side of the spectrum you are on.
Subsidy has also been removed to free up resources to cater for other needs of the people.....this equally isn't a bad move in itself but I agree the manner of implementation isn't perfect but it's a policy the economy needs to free itself.
China, Singapore,US,UK didn't get where they are today by driving lexus and Benz's with a paltry GDP of 350 billion USd,they dug deep and suffered the pains to get where they are today. If you do believe all those policies you enumerated was geared towards lifting the nation economically, then you are on a long thing. Again, every of their policies so far are anti people at best. It shores up money for them to have enough to spend lavishly on their foreign trips and buying new aircraft while they beckon on the people to be patient! And, stop calling on serious nations when referring to Nigeria. Those counties understand what it take to run a country unlike our imbecilic government! |
Politics › Re: #FearlessInOctober: Protesters Chant "Tinubu Ole" As They March To Ojota (Video) by Festy4u(m): 12:29pm On Oct 01, 2024 |

Politics › Re: Police Attack FearlessInOctober Protesters In Abuja (Video) by Festy4u(m): 12:16pm On Oct 01, 2024 |
Lithiumite: You have to inform the security agencies, even in the organised climes we always like to compare with go ask anyone.
Protests if not well managed can degenerate into civil unrests that could pose serious threats to life and properties......the end sars protests readily comes to mind.except you are an anarchist, that's the only reason you would wish same on the country in this perilous times. Maybe you will prefer they all die of hunger because you iare in support of a leader that's wasteful in every sense and wants the nation to understand! A case of implementing policies that enriches his pocket to the detriment of the people. Inform the police my foot! |

Lithiumite: There is a place already approved for the protest....why go and hold your own unapproved protest elsewhere.....they have to be stopped quickly so as not to escalate the security situation.....if you want to protest,go to eagle square. So people who want to protest peacefully should be boxed to a particular area in a country they claimed they are from! It's better telling them to go to Ghana to proest! Have we suddenly become this daft under the APC government! What a country! |
