tete7000: I don't expect them to apologize but I expect an average intelligent person to read between the lines and conclude, the reason I use the word "inadvertently". If you say something and it is well documented, and then you come around and say something that negates what you earlier said and confirms what you denied, you proved your lie with your own mouth!. However, since they now occupy positions of leadership and are going to be making decisions that determine our collective fate for the next four years, we probably all don't have a choice than to support and wish them well. My people say "Irorun eku ni irorun eye" - A comfort for the rodent is equally a comfort for the bird. Beni..."Irorun igi ni iroru eiye" But we should be readily available to point APC to their past lies and propaganda on matter as delicate as security. |

1. Being a member of APC Security Committee does not mean the man is a card carrying member of APC.
2. And if we assume (a big assumption at that) that Lawal Daura is a card-carrying member of APC, is there any part of our law/constitution that forbids a card-carrying member of a governing party from heading DSS, NSCDC and other similar bodies?
I need documented evidence from anyone please. https://www.nairaland.com/2489527/evidence-dss-dg-apc-member#36424398 |

tete7000: That was part of the many lies deliberately told to win election. Let us thank God they have got courage to retrace their steps and say the right thing; they are inadvertently showing they are liars and propagandists. However we hopefully can at least move forward most especially when the new opposition (PDP) have promised to cooperate rather then act the way of APC as opposition to end security challenge the country is facing . Nigerians with time will realise all lies APC has told in the past and this will probably influence our democratic culture most importantly when it comes to synthesising information and using it as a tool for choosing leaders. We all for now need to shield our swords, lean on the side of the truth and seek to move our country forward. Let look forward to seeing more admission of lies and deceit coming from APC.
Nigeria belongs to us all.
God bless Nigeria. APC is yet to apologize to Nigerians for the many lies, until then, no peace for them. |

obailala: It was PDP and GEJ that first reduced the issue of terrorism and insecurity to politics by accusing APC of being responsible for BH; that was insane and irresponsible.
Meanwhile regarding GEJ's visit to Chad, you guys should stop getting it twisted as if you don't what the real issue was. The real issue in that picture you posted is that GEJ visited Chad for a security meeting with Alli Modu Sherrif who was just accused about a week earlier of being strongly connected to Boko haram. That was the reason behind the uproar of sensible Nigerians. “We recognise that none of us can succeed alone. In order to win this war, we need the collective efforts of each other, standing together as a formidable force for good, to defeat and end these acts of terror against our people,” the President reportedly said. |

Terrorism worldwide is fought collectively. APC why did you play dirty politics with the lives of Nigerians?

OAMMB: Thank you sir for the warm welcome. i feel loved already.
Definately to the masses. We have suffered to much as a people in Nigeria. We have no business being classified a poor or even developing nation. We have the best brains (both postively and negatively) which i classify under human resources. We have almost all the natural resources you can think of (both tapped and untapped). Resources that other nations dont even have. we have resilient and determined people that can survive anywhere in the world. These politicians, pastors and all other religious leaders have taken advantage of our religious and tribal sentiments and they have used this against us. They have raped this nation and its citizens over and over again and we keep fighting ourselves both physically and even online. we see white and they call it red for us and we believe them. Selling our birth rights for a morsel of porriadge and killing ourselves on their behalf. They have made our pains their own gains. We have common enemy and i believe we should come together be it PDP, APC or whatever and ask our leaders the right question. We have only one country (Nigeria) no matter wherever we are now. we cant change the fact that we are Nigerians or were nigerians when we are no more. A few have taken us for granted and have impoverish the millions in the country. we are sick , we are hungry, we have no good homes, schools, hospitals no good road and we are tired. Its time to join hands and come together like husband and wives and look beyond our religion or tribe and stand for the truth to save this country. we cant fight forever. let us not be selfish or hate one another lets think of tomorrow and our nation. If not for ourselves for the sake of our children and childrens's children yet unborn. That one day our kids will have a better life than we did. May the Almighty God continue to increase you in wisdom. We have common enemy to fight, our politicians. How do you explain the monumental fraud and loots at their disposal? They must return back all our stolen wealth irrespective of which party they belong. |

Sanchez01:

One thing is this; the PDP is wasteful, extremely wasteful and I believe the looming hard times within the party has peaked almost to the point of no return. Compared to the APC, the PDP is a spoilt brat who never prepared for hard times. The party has solely depended on the FG for the past 16 years that it had prevented its officials to ask "what ifs". Albeit, we need them around to check this government.
The industrial court may be forced to look the party's way when they're presented with facts that indeed the party is going through tough times at this point. Four years is a long wait for a penniless fellow.
And as much as I hate the PDP and their philosophy, I still believe they're still relevant to our cause. Thank you for your comment. Time shall tell... |
