What you will do is take a look at the current bill you were sent and you will see
LAR and PAR

LAR = Last Reading
PAR = Present Reading.
Subtract LAR from PAR then you will get the numbers of unit consumed. Do they still pick your meter reading? If they still do, anytime the person comes around to take the reading get the figure he or she picked fro your meter too.. of possible stake your phone and snap the reading
