To those people saying GEJ has not addressed the issues raised in OBJ's letter. While I'm not a fan of either of them, I think GEJ has challenged OBJ to furnish him and the entire country with evidences of many of his allegations as contained in the OBJ's letter to GEJ. The ball is now is OBJ's court to indeed and succinctly provide us with his evidences.

I don't know why people are just being unnecessarily sensitive to non-essential comment like chidi's. I'm sure chidi meant no ill with his comment but people like to hear only sweet things all the time which to me is in the realm of impossibility.
Backbenchers in my class are the most brilliant set of students. Let's try and be positive with our reasoning. Chidi should only be conscious of the sensitive nature of our society to written and spoken words. Shinelle I like your large heart!

It is good to note that all those Basic Medical Science courses were created to ease off the rush for Medicine and Surgery by students seeking admission in Nigerian universities. Generally speaking, in today's world, BSc degree is like a secondary school leaving certificate. To be relevant in any field of study, you just have to further beyond BSc. It is just rather unfortunate in Nigeria. In other developed world, those in the BMS are into research, that's why you see them earning Nobel prize in their fields of interest e.g Robert Edward won a Nobel prize in Physiology for developing the concept of In-vitro Fertilization in 1978. Until we develop a curious mind for research in Nigeria, all these BMS courses will have no where to fit in.

What you guys especially the Laboratory Scientists fail to understand is that the more you go on strike the more you show the world how dispensable you truly are and you even advertise your position. What baffles me is that 99% of you opted to study Medicine but no thanks to JAMB, you weren't picked. Why then will you spitefully hate your first love?
