SixSeven: I want to blame the system but the family is also culpable because of the deal they had with her lawyers.
Clenney was originally facing a charge of second-degree murder, which carried a potential sentence of up to 30 years or life in prison. By offering a plea deal down to manslaughter with a deadly weapon, prosecutors secured a guaranteed conviction and an admission of guilt, avoiding a complex, high-profile trial where a jury might have acquitted her entirely.
Approvals from the Prosecutor and Victim's Family According to Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, the plea agreement was reached in full consultation and with the approval of Christian Obumseli's family. Facing years of trial delays, appeals, and graphic evidence being broadcast publicly, the family agreed to the deal because it forced Clenney to formally accept legal responsibility for the killing and provided the family with immediate closure. Finally a comment that make sense .. everybody just shouting racism racism ...without even reading tru |

Lalami3232: That na short woman oooooooooo..... But is she a virgin or leftover? Make I tell you a bitter truth, women will never lower their standard except they're desperate or old age don catch them. But you see high value men settling for far lesser women nowadays. Women would hardly go for men they're richer than or more educated than, neither will they accept a short or broke man but my fellow men go accept nonvirgins wey numerous men don sleep with. Until men learn to be butal like women in making their choices, DNA test would always prove me right.

ATLANTIC GOT BURNA AN A CHOKEHOLD, REASON WHY BURNA MUST DO SHOWS UPON SHOWS TILL HIS CONTRACT ENDS. THESE FOREIGN RECORD LABELS ONLY GIVE YOU SLAVE DEALS. THEY WILL MILK YOU TILL YOU FADE AWAY....IMAGINE BURNABOY HAS ONLY 25% FROM HIS MUSIC LAST LAST, WHILE THE PERSON HE SAMPLED GOT ABOUT 60% OF THE REVENUE. ARTISTS JUST WANT THAT DEAL LIKE HELL, REASON THEY END UP WITH A DEVILISH SLAVISH DEAL, EVEN WITH SOME DOING THE UNTHINKABLE TO GET AWARDS. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY STINKS.
HE SHOULD THANK HIS GOD HE GOT OUT OF THE DEAL EARLY FINE, HALE AND HEARTY WITH NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM. SOME END UP DEAD. HE SHOULD THANK HIS STARS Concerning burna boy last last song ..toni Got 60 because they sample his song has nothing to do with record label or deal or so what ...it has to do with the person you are sampling his work ...you can check how much j Cole paid different artist for sampling there works for this his last album. Back to burna boy ....toni Braxton took 60 gave burns boy and the team 40... Out of that 40. .burna took 25 more than half and you still think he was been short changed how na.... The thing is that alot of artist forget how much the record labels and deals spend you ..now you frown when they are taking there own cut or taking higher than you ..the only thing ya bringing to the table is your talent..the logistic pr outsourcing branding costing and risk of failing is all on them think about it. .. Of course there are evil deals that take advantage of the artist ..but let dont make it seem like davido signing for Sony that time was not the best thing in his career at the moment and did not reap some benefit some worth from the deal.. |

RollinTNDA: She is a Thief
I have been a producer before and I can swear with my life. We thee producers are the creators of all the masterpiece you hear on radio. Sometimes we tell the artistee how to sing and what to sing. I have seen Olodo singers that producers help write their songs and show them which catchy lines to use to make song sweet.
Unfortunately once the artist blow with the song. They try to take all the glory thereby removing you as co author even tho na you contribute write the catchy chorus
That been said Producers are co authors And are liable to percentage of earnings Without them you as an artiste have only voice no instruments no beat. No catchy melody
However, this producer only mistake was that he didn't have a publishing rights are neither was he registered. While Sinachi team had already secured her publishing rights that is why she has major hand in the project. In court of law, she has upper hand since he can't prove that he contributed
Had it been he has a publishing rights. He would submit the song with proof as the producer. That is the proof the court needs
That is why I tell producers go and register for publishing rights so that any werey artiste that collect your beat and blow they will not be able to remove you as co authors
He probably thought Sinachi as a gospel artiste won't do no harm.. lol Gospel artist wey be sharks for music industry. Just dey play Quick to call her a thief is not nice ...you have no idea what the real picture because you were not there .. Note that giving suggestions that they later used , or saying sing like this or like that ..infact giving any idea that is not in lyrics or melody does not make u or count as co author and this is what a lot of producers count as contributions... Swearing with your life that you the producers are the creators of all the masterpiece you hear in world is just a funny thing to say ...you need to watch how meachel jackson makes music ..he virtually tells you what it wants down to to smallest input yet till today producers are still collecting royalties from the work.. so as they are talented and olodo artist so there are talented and olodo producers that na the artist cover the rubbish job ...you hear alot of this from upcoming talented artist producers for that level know no pass autotune ... Another there are too many cases of producers and artist cases in court all over the world even in the circular industry..but once a gospel artist makes the news like this we start pointing fingers... If you think about it this thing trickles down..producers complain alot that artist no dey acknowledge them ...producers too dont acknowledge the bassist or the guitarist or the aux guy...something that you did not play all by yourself you take all the glory especially here in Nigeria...you that you were a producer and stopped if you did not buy a guitar pack ..someone played live on your beat did you make sure he was on the royalty list....if yes kudos Now the most important thing you said was you encourage producers to get registered on distro kid and so on so they can be collecting royalties very important... Lastly they said they made an oral agreement if it's TRUE or not I dont knw u too dont knw ...I have had a session with a producer that he said he will pay me half nd put my name on royalties I said no oga pay me full if the song no blow nko..that's an oral agreement its possible no body was there with us... Most importantly get you input stored and dated for proff on a drive or cloud ...I tell you even if you get registered today it does not matter who registered first or not...once you get registered you begin to get royalties sometime you even get some from. The years you missed ....so get your shit right so the law can protect you ... Peace |

jedisco: The reason why you wouldn't see pictures of people dressed like her in a European bank is simple: it is because that is not considered something to raise an eyebrow about. Also, going around taking hidden pictures of people is very pervasive. I'm still surprised Nairaland is giving such front-page views.
It has always surprised me how relative these things are. In my days in Northern Nigeria, I saw people lose sleep because they saw a lady typical wearing jean trousers. I saw men get excited because they saw a lady's legs. The Hisba police would frown at and remove women sitting in front of commercial buses. All these things were considered immoral to them. Same way some people believe that any woman who wears a trouser is going to hell
Like I said, I see absolutely nothing wrong with her dressing. There is absolutely no day I don't see multiple people dressed in such a manner going about their usual daily activities, and nobody cares about it. She is not exposing anything private.
Lastly, this is not about using Europe as a standard to attain (which I avoid). We need to learn from the past. We would always have our own culture, which we should preserve. Going around taking hidden pictures of people is absolutely improper, and being unusually judgmental is something I frown at. I don't think it's a Nigerian thing to be snapping immoral or funny dressing ...they do it everywhere in the world not because they are raising there eye brows or spit at it all the time they are just fascinating to see something like this and of course they blur there face ..of course it's your body and its body business how you cover it I'm just talking of moral standards..n Also you see I did not make comparison with arabian countries or exterm religious states I'm just talking of a balance society this does not work...you even dress like this and walk into so luxurious restaurant or boutique I bet you a staff will walk up to you to ask questions ...theres is still social and moral constructs and standard all over the world ... Well I'm not in a position to say what she wear is wrong or right ..but theres how you dress to a public space...a man should not wear pants and he shirtless to a bank because it does not show any private part .. |
Fashion › Re: See What This Lady Wore To A Banking Hall (Photo) by Flamesss: 1:39am On Jul 27 |
jedisco: What's wrong with her dressing? It's the pervert who photographed her that should be arrested. Also, for the person who put this on frontpage, I wonder what they had in mind. The person taking pics might already be thinking of how to assault her
This is not an uncommon way to dress during summer in many of the countries Nigerian leaders deposit the nations stolen funds in. Buhari was treated in the UK with Nigerias funds. I wonder how much offense he took when folks there dressed this way
Even in Nigeria the averagely dressed southern lady would be considered immorally dressed in many parts of the north. Where does it end? We need to wake up and start asking the right questions of our leaders not being bamboozled by such in the name of morality. Lol..quite funny .. Well it's an uncommon way to dress like this during summer to a bank no matter how the temperature is hot ...this looks or feels like a night or sleeping cloth I stand corrected tho..I'll like to see a picture of a lady dressing like this to a bank in America. Europe or china Japan etc.. Secondly I understand we are trying to trying to do this liberal 21st century thing in this part of the world that once someone complains on the morality of something we tend to compare with America or Europe, in as much as we have different cultural values moral standards are not that bad there..worse case scenario she wears a kimono on this outfit ... Not to be a fashion police or something..you dress like this and walk into any bank in world and tender a 30 millon cheque for transfer or withdrawal...they will check several times to be sure its you or your the right person because of the way you appear ..so whether we accept it or not the moral standard around the world is still on high level...even for a club this is not cute.. |

Moneyyman: This is true.
Men, take it from your fellow man. You don't have to sleep. With every female around you.
Build pure friendships. Not even for the supposed value and benefit women can give you, but simply because you're a human being. Build meaningful friendships and let the value of it be natural.
In addition, know that women have lots of access because many of our fellow men are idiots who cannot resist women. That big oga or boss you're scared of calling, there's a "small girl" somewhere that has his number and can call him, talk to him, and get a good response within 5 minutes.
Build valuable friendships devoid of sex.
Women, you can also do this. Stop pressuring your male friends for money here and there. Or even for sex. I've seen friendships where it is the women pressuring the guys for sex. Just stop it. Said it all ..there's more to a relationship than ending in sex...or billing |

Yoruba managers and bosses love those who worship the ground they step on...they love asslickers so much and they reward them... It's evident in their larger society... that's how they worship their useless and corrupt political leaders.
If you have never experienced it just go out and do basic research well your could be right base on your experience...but we are talking of eye service here....every boss like a staff that is very active, busy , here and there, even doing more than his asked to ...you could call it eye service boss could call it performance..the diffrence between eye service and honor is the heart..boss cannot see your heart ...would see your action...how you knw the diffrence is one gets exhausted once he does not get desired reward the other continues doing his thing |
