Tijani009: I googled today and discovered that the cost of petrol in Nigeria is two time higher than UK, and slightly with a hundred naira lower than usa. Untrue. Petrol is about 1.40p. Pound is 2,100 Naira. Please explain how petrol is cheaper in UK. |

cjfavour: Some people don’t have sense at all. Read this guy post and understand that sense is far from some people. You know you are a dunce. Most of you are simply emotional and have no brain. Who determines how much Falana should charge politicians when he has a brief? Why does Falana think he has the competence to determine how much petrol should be sold? How much is petrol sold around the world as compared to Nigeria? Should Dangote, the regulators or the marketers lose? All this is grandstanding . |

frog12: i understand they were working 90 percent under Abacha. maybe he stopped them before he died.
so we are suffering because of Abacha? na state capture to private pockets be dis. They were not working at 90% capacity. Stop the lies. Petrol queues were a common occurrence, which is why when they disappeared under Obasanjo, it was celebrated. Little did people know that importation and subsidies were what was sustaining the supply. |

Dangote supporter! No, they stopped working under Abacha. Under Abacha, there were motor queues for extended periods. |

Only a.mad man would continue doing something that hasn't worked for 30 years . Refineries should be sold. |

mojid22000: NNPC is the problem and culprit here, even though Dangote is not entirely fault free. The secrecy is there because NNPC paid Dangote with crude oil to be supplied in future but can't come out to say this
See what NNPC said earlier this month
"NNPC also declared that Dangote and other domestic refineries were free to sell directly to any marketer on a willing buyer, willing seller basis, adding that it had no desire or intention to become the distributor for any entity in a free market environment."
And NNPC still remain the sole importer of petrol bin Nigeria as reported by punch earlier this month
The PUNCH reports that while licensed individuals have been importing diesel into Nigeria, NNPC remains the sole importer of petrol under the current administration. There is no controversy. Marketers have been making a windfall from subsidy over the years. In June, they told us that petrol landing at the port would is at 1117 Naira. Which means they need to add their profit, and government should pay subsidy. Now that Dangote is less than 1000 Naira, they claim importing is cheaper. Criminals. |
Politics › Re: N950/litre Dangote Petrol May Justify More Importation -marketers by Flangelo12: 12:45pm On Sep 17, 2024 |
frog12: landing cost is added because that was imported petrol. this landing cost headline is wrong figure i think. see, Dangote refinery is in nigeria. why don't you admit, Dangote dey play everyone You are an evil person. For you to argue this fact, tells you have evil agenda. |

She regretted trekking around that day under hot sun looking for her polling unit that was moved to another location only for her to be faced with the present situation and her pastor still collects tithes and has not apologized for misleading them with fake prophesy of victory for the agulu religious bigot.

GIFTEDPLANNERS: Very simple thing to handle by stopping all mining activity there and check the rock formation if the miners are doing the wrong thing. If it's needs bringing expects from abroad do it. What ever happens in the future will not only affect those in that area and Aso rock is just close. Once this changes takes place so it will continue and start affecting other areas like cancer. How much will mining in that area if it's stopped for 2 years research that is equivalent to a human life. Govt should start being proactive to issues than personal gains Rather unlikely in a basement complex. What is likely is natural tectonic shifts which occur in nature. |

Instead we operate a reactionary type of system in this country. Waiting for something terrible to happen before acting.
