The actress won the best at the just concluded Nollywood Honour awards 2018. Chizzy Alichi who is one extra ordinary actress with an extra ordinary backside was nominated alongside other actors at the Hotel Benizia Asaba Delta state. The programme attracted so many top dignitaries from all works of life.
Chizzy was nominated alongside Rechael Okonkwo, rubby eve esin chacha Ike among other actress.

The Eniwari, born successful wrestler of international repute and Canadian freestyle wrestler who is a two time Olympic Gold medalist, President Nigeria Wrestling Federation and who has also been appointed as the Vice President Commonwealth wrestling council, has been conferred as Ambassadorial position of the People's  Democratic Party Youth  Alliance in Bayelsa state.

The Award was conferred on him by the PDP Youth  Alliance Coordinator Hon Solomon David and his Executives in Bayelsa State.

The Coordinator described Dr Igali as a patrotic Nigerian that is worth emulating, that after achieving so much internationally  decided to serve his people in his constituency by becoming a member,  Bayelsa State House of Assembly representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 3.

Hon Solomon David appreciated him for being a blessing to Bayelsa State and especially the Eniwari people.
He also stated that people of Eniwari have done well to have produced such a caliber of person, that God loves Eniwari so much. Hon Solomon concluded by saying that we have just few of the likes of Hon Igali popularly called the 'Champion' and should be guided and protected.
Hon Solomon David, the State Coordinator, popularly known as the working machine also eulogized the Governor for his sportsmanship by hosting and providing logistics for the Common Wealth Games gold mendalists and appreciating the efforts Hon Daniel Igali.
Also speaking, the Political Adviser to the Group, Hon Godsave Alade also gave his fatherly advise, stressing that Hon Igali should not relent from doing what he is use to do because he is always known to stand uprightly in everything he does.

Responding after the conferrement Hon Igali firstly thank God for who he is and where he is today. He described his achievements so far as a gift from God. He adviced that to be successful in this life, one should always put God first and then work hard to earn it.

He also thanked the Youths Alliance for finding him worthy of been their Ambassador and promised to do all his best to the organization and PDP at large. Dr Igali thank Governor Henry Seriake Dickson for turning Bayelsa state into an infrastructural state. He further said PDP has the best potentials that can stand anywhere, that we do not have just politicians  but people who are professional in their various areas.

Pst Esther made this known to newsmen who approached her immediately after her church service at Canaan Covenant Ministries Akenfa, Yenagoa Bayelsa state.

The Clergy woman who is a Grassroot mobilizer and youths Advocate who hail from Gbarantoru in Ekpetiama clan told news men of her new decision to visit communities to physically see those who have their permanent Voters Cards, according to her, she is only fighting for 10 thousand women with PVCs because she dose not believe in dem say dem say, so she need to see their PVCs by herself.
The lioness also said they are approaching 1000 women already by the special Grace of God ten thousand is Assured.

Esther Martins Promise to do her best to mobilize and deliver for the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come 2019.

She further advised thousand's of her followers to join her to do justice because it is time we get our voters Card, the lioness of the Niger Delta fondly called by her followers also urge Pastors to talk to their members to go and register for their Voters Card because she will soon visit metropolitan Churches to do the campaign, that INEC will not count prayer points so everyone should get there PVCs so PDP can be recovered at the Center and Bayelsa State can continue as PDP State. Martins Stated her commitment to the PDP Youths Alliance and thanked the ever passionate Bayelsa state Coordinator Hon Solomon David for finding her Worthy to serve in that capacity as metropolitan director.

The entire National Assembly was enveloped by commotion,  fear and tension on Wednesday morning as some armed men stormed the Senate chamber along with suspended Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, overpowered security men and forcefully took away the mace. 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Correspondent reports that plenary was proceeding in the Red Chamber at about 11.15 a.m. when some persons made their way into the session and took the mace away.

The intruders had overpowered the Sergeants-at-Arm before going for the mace, the symbol of authority of the chamber, while the Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, was presiding at the plenary.

Some witnesses of the incident, who pleaded anonymity, told NAN that a senator was earlier sighted with the persons suspected to have carried out the act.

As at the time of this report, the lawmakers immediately went into a close-door-session and the mace was yet to be found.

Meanwhile, activities have been halted in the National Assembly as the House of Representatives discontinued with its plenary as a result of the incident.

Lawmakers and members of staff of the assembly were seen in clusters discussing the incident.
