I just dropped in to say, if u have not experienced the greatness of d ps3 or any last gen gaming console...then dont bother jumping to ps4 or xbox one....

They also get the best games too.... Even a pc xclusive game like d witcher series moved 2 consoles and now witcher 3 is selling more on d ps4..

I read and understood before replying. What you said= there is a negligible difference in graphics quality between consoles and PC and you stated GTA 5 as an example to back your claim and then I straight up said that was a lie and stated COD:AW as an example to back my claim. Now the thing is you seem to think everyone who defends PC gaming is strictly a PC gamer, sorry to bust your bubble bro coz all that "unlike you" shii doesn't apply with me. I have a PS3 in my house now(in fact I use the controllers for soccer coz two people can't play with my keyboard seeing as I have a laptop) and would have also bought a PS4 if it wasn't so antiquated by the time it was launched and I have done thorough comparisons between the two to arrive at my conclusions that PC is much better.
I had played the Batman games on console because my younger brother is a big fan and I always complained because they seemed a bit bland to me............... until I put AA on my PC, it was like a whole new game, same thing with Bioshock Infinite and Bioshock(even though I tried to use a controller for this...it was bad for me by the way).
And your saying Pads are better is total BS, I play a ton of games and the thing is where there is the option to use a keyboard and mouse, that is definitely the option I'd go with. The only other game I have used a controller actively for on PC(actively here being; not for testing purposes) is Hitman Absolution and that was for the gun range part(I just couldn't beat that chick with the K&M combo), after that I couldn't even use the controller anymore because it seemed a little tedious to me(which is funny because you said learning a keyboard and mouse can be difficult).
At the end of the day, all of this is my opinion and I am not trying to enforce it on anybody. You should not try to as well and that is what the fact of the matter is.

Abeg forget about graphics, good looking graphics does not make a good game, some of the best games have 8 or 16bit graphics.

Its fast paced ...fewer buttons that do what u want easily... Keyboard has so many buttons that does one single function...
Console pad has a way of making all those functions work wit a controller in a way that makes it easier to navigate unlike so many buttons u hav on pc which can b confusing sometimes..

I would still give d keyboard the fps crown and strategy crown but thats as far as they go... In any other genre... Console pad destroys it,

So there's no universal agreement that a keyboard is better for fps cos if u check d statistics u wud find out more gamers play fps on consoles than pc.

Trust me, gud gameplay will keep you coming back over and over. Presentation will wear off. Uncharted had trash shooting mechanics, the bad guys were bullet sponges like gears of war. The puzzles were child's play. Presentation was top notch. And what story are you talking about? Uncharted's story is no story please. Last of us, sure because the game was actually acted out, like a movie (watch the making of the game to confirm this). However it doen't have that great replayability, because you play it for the story...nothing else, and now the story is done. So what else is there to play, it's definitely not the above average ai and gameplay mechanics. That's why some games are being played over and over and over. Lke zelda 64. Nintendo make great games. That I can admit.

Oh and one last fact: jrpgs= japanese role playing games. This genre is mainly based in japan. Some trickle down to the rest of the world but most are based there. Japan is mainly a console gaming market. And they mostly purchase japanese goods (that's why xbox doesn't do well there). So ofcos the jrpg is going to flourish on consoles, specifically, japanese consoles (nintendo and playstation)

Rpgs in general including wrpg and krpg mostly thrive on pc. So there you go.

Anything that is not a shooter or strategy is better on consoles than pc , how can anybody who knows anything about gaming say rpgs thrive on pc than consoles like seriously??, heck even shooters now adays are played more on consoles and they make more money on consoles...everyone xcept u knows this... I said nothing of cinematics and cutscenes. Mgs have that in abundance. I'm talking of the concentration on presentation to have a movie feel, like the walking dead season 1 game. If u want a full movie like game then talk about HEAVY RAIN not last of us or uncharted cos those two mixes everything perfectly...

When they rate a game... Its d overall package they talk about.... And both last of us and uncharted are top tier when it comes to overall package....

When portal came out, it had a cross play between ps3 and pc. After a week all the ps3 gamers stopped playing against the pc gamers because they were getting absolutely destroyed. Apparently the slowers pc gamer was still faster than the fastest ps3 gamer. What does that tell you.

Fps on console employ a lot of auto aim. Not precise auto but compared to the manual aim of keyboard and mouse, the controllers are auto. Sales numbers doesn't mean a product is best. It cud also mean it's user friendly. Very hard console games don't sell much (bloodborne, bayonetta, dark souls games) same with pc games and most pc games centric games are not easy games and there are a lot of them to go around so sales are spread around unlike current console games. There are far more pc exclusive a gen than there are console exclusives. The others are multiplats. Deal with it.

we were not arguing about platform now as am done wit dat and proved 2 u why console is superior .. But i know u wud stick 2 ur pc and dats fine.. Ur business.

My xplaination was 2 show u pads which are console property is a superior controller to keyboard when u take into consideration ALL GAMING GENRES and not just shooter which i admitted had d edge on pc... And thats first person shooter not even third person.....cos console still wins too in third person shooters..

So whether controllers ar used on pc is not d point, d point is ... Pads are superb for all genres and falls short of keyboard in only first person games...... While keyboard are inferior to pad in all genre except fps and strategy...

So its a no brainer... CONSOLE Pad WINs!!

TLOU was voted as such because of the story and gameplayand not the graphics, the only reason it is not on PC is because nauthydog don't do the ports, hope you are aware that it was rebooted for the PS4, so essentially that argument is iilegit even.

I am also someone who games on console and PC as well and I game on all platforms except Wii. Console gaming is nowhere close to PC gaming as far as I am concerned, I have been playing games for years and years and I have never regarded myself as a hardcore gamer until I bought a gaming PC. What are your PC specs, because at the end of the day you might be on an intel HD3000 and making comparisons.

let me help u understand one last thing. unlike consoles that dont do backwards compatibility very well, pcs today can still play the very first pc game ever made. hardware going obsolete doesnt mean anything on pc....so far as the it's a windows based pc, it can play all pc games if the hardware is capable. backward compatibility is not so great on consoles. aside that every console other than the ps3, xbox and xbox 360 can be emulated on pc. I play lots of ps2 games on my pc because I can.

emulator was created so pc guys can get 2 play the superior games they were not opportuned 2 play.....as most great games are on consoles....

The first part, u claim a 10yr old PC cant play games today, when in fact it can even if u ve to change all its settings to low...

The second part u claim a console as old as a ps2 can still play games today and even 10yrs from now because of the games library is huge. And wat is all this? How is any game made for a console and a pc different? How is Fifa 15 on PS4 different from dat of PC? Or how is Dying Light different on both platforms? Most games on d new consoles can run games as far as 60 fps(the 60fps isn't even guaranteed) and up to 1080p while a PC can go far more dan 60 fps and up to resolutions as high as 4k and u still say a console is better dan a PC??

Bros this a PC thread so pls go to the PS4 thread and sell this to pple there who re ignorant enough to buy it..

lol what i said was a 2005 LAPTOP wouldnt b able to run games made 2day which is true even in d lowest of settings.... And i said dat because u said older consoles go extinct when new ones are released which i countered by saying it dsnt necessarily hav 2 have new games on it to be played.. As the console already has a huge library which can even take a lifetime 2 complete.

The point of all these is to show that if u bliv older consoles go extinct when new ones are released then older latops too go extinct when dey cant run newer games hence they get replaced by newer more powerful laptops...
