You strike me as someone that has a romantic streak but not nearly enough to be called a basket case like most people of your gender. I get why you might turn your nose up at masculine TV shows like The Wire and Mad Men... look down on silly Teen shows like The 100, Jane the virgin (what a weird name), and Pretty Little liars... but what in the hell were you thinking when you dissed Super TV Shows with strong female leads like Homeland and The Americans? One would think that such shows were tailor-made for female audience that love a non-vulgar adult oriented TV shows. In other words, people like you. Then, again... I may be wrong.

I have to be blunt, Sis, but anyone that can describe a Political Spy thriller like the Homeland as "Silly Silly Silly" doesn't have much in the way of... Okay, lemme hold my peace for now. I really loved the arguments on this thread, but let me remind you on how CW was created.
CW was carved out of CBS and Warner Bros. It was created to target a particular audience(18-34), so any shows that airs on this channel will surely be teen oriented shows but that doesn't mean it's prohibited for adult.
Some adult do love cartoons very much, it just about choice and that you can't stop anybody from liking it. Truth be told it sound a lil blasphemous to compare the 100 with the likes of GOT, TWD, BB and other adult oriented series(30-49)


IMO, Emmy, Golden globes are meant for adults while teens choice award are meant for teen oriented series. In fact I was amazed Jane the virgin girl got nominated for golden globes and also the 100 who was Nominated for emmy last year for special effects.....

First of all, Imdb ain't crap. It's the foremost movie and Tv series database in the whole world and the number one ranker of all the TV shows, miniseries and movies out there, followed by Metacritic and Rotten Tomato. If Imdb called the The 100 a teen drama, then you'd better believe it. I'm done with this pointless argument btw. Moving on.

Like someone already said, The 100 is a pretty decent show if you're into that sort of thing, but it's what can only be categorized as a 'teen drama'. Look it up.

couldn't agree more with you bro...we all agree our parents era had more lasting marriages, but can we say they had more affluence and wealth than we have in this age? I doubt.

also for those who think money is all important then it should be celebrities and the more wealthy having the longest lasting fulfilling marriages, but one look at the tabloids or Linda ikeji's blog and you may need to reassert your money before love belief.
but don't get me wrong, money is MANDATORY in any relationship to be functional, but not necessarily the humongous amounts being coveted by our present age that makes it become get rich or die trying..

So then how can a show with more than 75% of it's characters supposedly below the age of 21 be targeting the adult demographic, the same adult demographic that just watched an episode of Boardwalk Empire or OITNB an hour ago?
