Capernum:On what measurable metric is US better under Trump for US citizens? Unfortunately many people has no clue what soft power entails |
The fact is that Tinubu and Wike will part ways sooner or later. Tinubu is to make that call but it will be definitely be a hard call Aligning with Wike will mean lots of disgruntled elements in APC national leadership and loyalty concerns with APC governors. The Rivers people might fight back at the poll and if Fubara is not fully on the side of the president, 2023 type of rigging might not be possible. Besides, Rivers is not as critical as it was in 2023 because all other SS states are in the bag for APC. Aligning with Fubara will mean that Tinubu risks leaking of 2023 rigging secrets among other prior acts between Tinubu and Wike. The extent of damage this will cause Tinubu’s 2027 mandate is yet to be determined but not expected to have significant impact as Wike has grown national apathy for himself. Infact, Tinubu might endear genuine voters if he openly goes after Wike and he has the apparatus of the state to shut him up or make him politically irrelevant At the end, irrespective of what Tinubu decides in this case, Wike will fight Tinubu and APC leadership like he has always done his entire political life…… the question is When? |

I pity whoever takes over from Trump as US president, a lot of these moves have lasting implications. Trump is keen on taking away all the leverages the US built over her allies for decades. To the folks who don’t understand what’s at stake, do you truly believe that the US presidents that have sustained these alliances for decades were all stupid? America has lost all her soft power under Trump, the remaining military might will be vulnerable without trusted allies |

These are only half truths. Reasons for reduction are 1. Devaluation of Naira - Relatively Fewer folks could afford medical tourism 2. More stringent measures in sourcing FX for medical tourism through CBN. People who could afford it sourced through the black market. CBN is only reporting the medical receipts they funded, totally excluded the black market economy |
This Bayo go mad enter market for Obi matter If Obi did not win the 2023 election, Tinubu and his agents won’t care this much. If truly Atiku came 2nd in the last election , he should have been the target of the Tinubu minions. |
Wike just figured how vulnerable he has become And for a power/ control freak like him, it’s a big deal But unfortunately the ship has sailed. Wike has no value for Tinubu in SS. |
Tinubu’s target is not more money. The focus is to further impoverish the masses to ensure subservience to the elite class. That is his style of politics |
All of them don dey get sense Unfortunately, it’s the US involved here and as such their opinions are irrelevant. Tinubu is doing his best to be on the positive side of the narrative because of 2027. But I trust Trump to go Gaga on him in less than 6 months |
Very anyhow and confused country |
When is he running for political office?, this is the typical precursor |
Chilipepper:And this one na real life ehhhnnn? Who never experience another clime go think say na so every country be |
I have a problem with this in Nigeria. Nothing ever works well here There more arms we had in the hands of people, the greater the crime. Both police, army, NSCDC have formed part of crime and kidnap syndicates. I insist that a gun in the hands of a man who struggles to feed will turn him to crime ….. kapish |
Nation of mean humans who are docile too |
mirrael68:I can argue that this message is sponsored by the Jihadists |
Something is coming but Nigerian politicians keep bluffing. I hope the APC laptop boys are ready to fight back The average Nigerian mindset is so wrecked that if we had 20k people killed daily in Lagos and Abuja by Jihadists…. Nigerians will get used to it in two days. There is no level of abnormality that the Nigerian mind has not been subjected to get used to. APC and Tinubu are real evils |
When will it be deployed to the jihadists den within Nigerian borders? Tinubu only cares when his presidential ambitions are threatened |
There was never any argument on who is the goat for anyone that understands soccer technically |
I don’t understand why Tinubu online apologists get excited at huge budget numbers without understanding the implications. 25% for servicing existing debts Another borrowing to source Almost 30% of the budget Over 65% to end up in loot pockets With naira thoroughly devalued, the debt profile of Nigerians both alive and unborn continues to mount |
Anyone who understands what soccer technically means will never compare Messi with any other. There is only one GOAT LIONEL MESSI |
MarkNsukkaBread:Everything is about money for many Nigerians even when they are being killed daily for nothing |
Imagine the current state of this enclave called Nigeria Imagine what the future of this country is going to look like Anyone discouraging you from any documented Japa options does not mean well |
It should worry Tinubu and his data boys the most. This is not the usual sycophancy that plague the country political climate. Tinubu should better deal with terrorists or step aside. We await Trump to help flush out the terrorists, their sponsors and sympathizers. As usual the data boys can go ahead to remind Trump that we a sovereign country that can’t govern herself and borrowing like we are running out of air |
This is really terrible for the country Mr President -, You Did Not Inherit a Dilapidated Nigeria — You Are Worsening It — Emir Mohammed Sanusi’s Message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I strongly disagree with your claim that you inherited a dilapidated Nigeria from your predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari. Your administration’s spending patterns contradict this assertion. Below are my reasons: Extravagant and Unjustifiable Expenditures Under Your Leadership: ₦21 billion allocated for renovating the Vice President's residence. ₦70 billion given to National Assembly members to purchase SUVs — each vehicle costing ₦160 million. ₦4 billion for renovation of Dodan Barracks and an additional ₦3 billion for Aguda House. ₦5 billion handed to the Presidential Tax Reforms Committee (less than 20 members), headed by Taiwo Oyedele, with no tangible outcome. ₦1.5 billion allocated for vehicles for the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu — despite the fact that the Office of the First Lady is not recognized by the Constitution. A 300% salary increase for judges, passed swiftly by an indifferent and irresponsible Senate. ₦5 billion budgeted for the presidential fleet. ₦5 billion for a presidential yacht. A staggering ₦225 billion allegedly spent on a new presidential jet. ₦90 billion allocated for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage. Billions spent on foreign trips for yourself and the Vice President at the expense of suffering citizens. Every senator now earns ₦21 million monthly, and House of Representatives members ₦13.5 million monthly — all salary hikes approved under your administration. The ₦15 trillion Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road contract was allegedly awarded illegally to your associate, Gilbert Chagoury, who was previously repatriated under former President Obasanjo. Alarming Governance Trends: You have appointed the largest cabinet in Nigeria’s history — how is this being financed? You created a new Ministry of Livestock Development — what about the Oronsaye Report, which recommended merging and downsizing MDAs to reduce costs? Where is the fuel subsidy savings? How much has been saved, and what was it used for? Nigerians demand transparency. What Nigerians Are Facing: Cost of governance has skyrocketed, not decreased. Fuel subsidy was removed without cushioning measures. Electricity tariffs have been hiked. Education and healthcare are now unaffordable for the average Nigerian. Prices of food and basic goods are beyond reach. Insecurity and killings have increased. The economy has deteriorated significantly. Unemployment is rising. Corruption has been institutionalized. Nepotism is rampant. Security votes and leaders' allowances remain untouched. There are zero direct support systems for the Nigerian citizen. Your government's slogan of “Renewed Hope” has turned into renewed hopelessness, destitution, and deception. Mr. President, your lifestyle, and that of your ministers, governors, and top officials — including service chiefs and heads of agencies — reflect reckless opulence, not the austerity of a “dilapidated” nation. Leaders are getting richer. Citizens are growing poorer. Your personal transformation — physically, mentally, and financially — in contrast to the suffering of Nigerians, is a glaring indictment of your administration. This trajectory must be reversed immediately. This is just a glimpse of the insensitive and reckless leadership we are currently enduring. Copied: |
This is the man the stars are aligning for. No actions are required… he only needs to sit back and watch God show how he reigns in the affairs of men. 2023 cannot repeat itself in 2027 |
The only reason he is speaking is because his empire and that of his ethnic president will be impacted. It has nothing to do with the life of the Christians that has been killed over a decade. He didn’t call out Tinubu, he only subtly tried to say that Tinubu didn’t start the insecurity |
All the political class knows is to steal everything that crosses their path at the expense of people’s lives |
