Cousin9999: You really should speak to a doctor.
But maybe it's because he's teething. Ask your doctor about safe ways to relieve that pain. True I did but the doctor said it was fine, he was a little dismissive to be honest especially that it came with extra crying he wasn't a crybaby as neonatal till 4months. |

CandyOps: Hi... this is a follow up. Did you give her peanut butters a try yet? My guess is you haven't as you sound like you love to do things at your own pace.
Do let me know. Lols I do like to pace myself but I shared the suggestions with my partner and he whipped it up to see how he reacts to it. Both of us love groundnuts but it gives us lots of gas. But per usual he took it at first and wasn’t interested anymore. I do appreciate your follow up, thanks alot |

Mom007: there are gentle ways to do it. Wash your hands real good, make a light but rich cereal like ogi or tombrown with plenty milk. Sit your baby between your legs, rest him against your body and tilt his head back slightly. Make a cup with one hand at his mouth and pour the food into the cup in your hand and let it flow into his mouth. Don't force him to swallow or rush, just take your time. Before you know. He will have swallowed everything. Remain in that position for like 5 minutes then rinse his face with cold water. That will prevent him throwing it up. Thanks I've made the raw ogi I'll try it fingers crossed. |

Mom007: You are describing my daughter when she was that age... it was very draining emotionally and physically and I wish I can tell you there is one magic potion for you to try. All I can say is it will get better so just stick with it, even 8f you need to forcefeed which is what I did with my daughter till she was about a Yr. Just have a bowl of cold water besides you and splash on the child's face at that point when you can see that he is just about to throw the food back up. That will settle him instantly. It Is well with you both. Ever since I knew forcefeeding was risky I no fit .Too scared, and this one is so dramatic 🙄 you need to see how he acts |

Nairalanders with babies please who has tips for my making my baby eat. My baby is 7months 8.3kg and doesn't eat much only thing I can get him to eat a bit is the food on my plate and oatmeal swallow. It's been a battle and I'm scared he's loosing weight. He hates milk or anything sweet and if I force-feed (which I'm advised against) he just pukes it all out.
It's even more frustrating when I try to make food just for him and he doesn't take it I'm juggling with work and I'm pulling my hairs at this point. Please any tips would be immensely appreciated. |
