This list comprises of names that have been maligned in the Nigerian media, be it in music and movie industries, or in the society at large. Feel free to comment and add yours;

1. Caro - this name is popular, no thanks to Wizkid who through his hit banger “looking for caro” makes the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name 'Caro' mentioned is a well endowed female who is of easy virtue. Remember the line “Caro your body necessary' ha necessary!"

Let's not also forget K-switch's featuring D'banj “sista Caro". A line from the song goes “sista caro, this your love is too contagious"

2.Salewa - Wizkid again is the culprit in his popular hit song “beat of life" remember the line ‘oya sare wa gba sisi salewa, sare wa gba ko gbeni wa'. This makes the name a very good punchline for jokes.

Do you also remember Dagrin's hit song “kondo", a line goes ‘salewa sare wole wa, sun sori bed mi yakata'

3. Akpors - please don't put your child's happiness in jeopardy, by naming him Akpors, which is the main character of any joke this days. Akpors is mostly known for his f.oolishness.

BONUS NAMES - Names such as Saka, Jinodu, Zuberu are very good punchlines especially with the Yorubas.
