No serious dealer will paint blemish or scratch from a car. That is the usual lie they like to lie.

I sell cars and i have just used one of my sold car to buttress my point that not all painted cars are accidented. Accusations like yours is the reason i advertise all my vehicles with US pictures.

He showed me some and I am sure I can to an extent.

First signal and wrong trigger is once they paint the car and claim any funny reasons like scratch bla bla bla , know that u are likely buying an accident car.

Not all painted cars are accidented. Some cars might come with paint blemishes, scratches etc

See attached, this vehicle is accident free, but if you zoom image, you will see paint blemishes and i baked the hood and bumpers, so does it qualify it to be an accident car?

I have learnt not to criticise prices of cars. Simply because foreign used cars does not have uniform prices. A whole lots determines the prices of foreign Used cars. What Mr A bought for $1000, Mr B can buy it for $2000, it all depends on the value a seller placed on his car. I believe OP got the car expensive, reason his price is a bit high, but i assume the quoted price can still be negotiated. With the present Naira free fall, this car might cost much more than the quoted price in the near future.

You don't pay for trucking to port during clearing. That's the job of the shipping company, unless you specifically request to change terminals then you will be asked to pay an added fee.

He made mention of shipping cost and port clearing only, so i reminded him of trucking of vehicle to port.
