oluwaseunla: Bro, you are not entirely correct. Some pre-order guys are based abroad and yes, they physically inspect vehicles. I know someone (here on nairaland) who goes to inspect with a certified mechanic. The day the car is paid for over there, they send the electronic bill of sale to your e-mail so the car is already in your name, not possible for it to be sold to someone else. The only thing is that you are the one that will contact a clearing agent for clearing. Besides, the link where the car is advertised is sent to you, so you know the exact cost price of the car, you are not given some round figure, so it's actually possible to get the car cheaper than you will get it in Lagos or Cotonou.
It's all about the different ways it's carried out. Like Eyop has been saying in this thread, there's nothing wrong with pre-order if you have an agent that is honest and trustworthy.
Inspiredm has promised to adjust on his shortcomings, personally I also feel he deserves another chance, after all no one is perfect. But that is only if he'll do everything humanly possible to work on most of the genuine complaints listed here.
But don't ask if I'll patronise him yet o, I believe his style will suit some folks.
