Since you have identified the root cause of your problem, the cure is not far from you. STOP šŸ›‘ abusing the drug for your own good. I understand that you are weighed down emotionally and psychologically, but we all are soldiers of the same struggle. We may not have the same degree of shock absorbers but you must not be overwhelmed by problems of life. If we go by the pains and truama we go through in this earthly hell called Nigeria, all of us would have been overdose of this drug and perhaps died from it.

You claimed that

That is quite different from.the screenshot below. Which of them is a lie, yours or the screenshot below?
I think your problem is that of comprehension or sheer braggadocio. The lead post was on; Tinubu 15 Days In Office Leave Investors Excited.- Bloomberg. The report by Bloomberg x-rayed Tinubu's fuel subsidy removal and a unified exchange rate policies as indicators of good economic omen that will have multipliers effect in the long run, hence investors are excited. In your response, you posited that, Buhari started off like this but ended up disappointing the nation. I took exception to your summation with a contrary view that Buhari never started like this, and that is a fact that is in public domain and indisputable. I told you not to tell yourself lie that Tinubu started same way with Buhari. In your response, you said that it is either I'm the one telling a lie against Buhari or Tinubu. You supported this claim with a screenshot photo of dailypost.ng, wherein it reported Tinubu referring to president Buhari as the only solution for the security and economic challenges facing Nigeria daily, during their 2015 presidential campaign. How wetin Bloomberg report and this your screenshot report take resemble my brother? No correlation and that is why I said that you have a problem with comprehension or you just don't want to be objective in your analysis of the reality on ground. Nor dey lie to yourself bro. All the best

Is my question an assertion?

What is the reality on ground, in the air and in the sea?

It is either u are lying about buhari or Tinubu lied about buhari. Which one is it?
My brother, I don't have time for frivolities. Wether Tinubu about Buhari or not, or wether my obvious and truthful response is assumed a lie by you, is your business. Good day.

Family / Re: Why Are Men Becoming Lazy And Un-productive. by forerunner022(m): 4:08pm On Jun 12, 2023
The Op assertion is not far from the truth. However the Op views are parochial. Let me explain. While it is true that some men are just lazy and do not want to work, thereby leaving a whole lot of domestic responsibilities for their wives to carry, it is also true that a lot of men really seek to find a job where they can get the wherewithal to fend for their families. The Op didn't not take into cognizance the unemployment rate in the country while making those assertions. Living in Nigeria is living in an earthly hell. That's not to justify laziness in any way. The enabling environment for getting employed or self-employed should be created by the government also. Citizens should have access to soft loans from the banks and govt to start up businesses. When these things are done and you still find a young man who is unwilling to work because of laziness, Sharia law should be applied to that man by amputating his hands because they are of no use to his immediate family and the society at large.

Family / Re: Leaving A Marriage Because He's Not Taking Responsibilities, Make Me Bad? by forerunner022(m): 5:03pm On Jun 06, 2023
Giftedhands45:
I have to join this forum to post this tonight.

I'm in my early thirties, my husband is just two years older than me. My husband has always been neglecting his responsibilities even before we got married, but I was seeing it as he doesn't have a better job and a struggling guy whom we can both join hands together to build each other. I endured everything with him. I have always supported and provided without complain.
Since last year my husband lost his job, since then, he has refused to look for any other source of income. Even when he had a job, he always have one story or the other to tell about his monthly salaries. So, he still doesn't provide.
Once, there's nothing in the house, he will keep watching because I can't watch my two children Starve. I will try everything, even call friends, families and borrow. He doesn't care how I borrowed and how I paid.

Now, he wakes up every morning and still go back to sleep. Whatever I asked him, he don't always have. He's response always is ''I don't have money ''
I am the only one sourcing out everything in this house, I don't have a job as well, just struggling up and down with a business I do.

There's no food, school fees, bill, everything, he will ignore. I can't watch my children suffer. So, I keep struggling without any help. But he eats food and uses everything in the house with us. He wouldn't provide, but he can use them once they're available.
Our house rent will soon expire and he has no plan towards That. The previous one I paid, but presently, my business is down

Lately, I've been thinking. I've never cheated since I entered this marriage, but If I keep struggling all myself like this, my children will suffer. I feel, I need someone who loves me and willing to support me as well.
My children are too used to their father, it borders me if I separate them from him.

Leaving a marriage because he's not taking responsibilities, does that make me a bad woman?

What could make a man to be very comfortable not providing for his family but wouldn't want to loss the said family?

Have you ever been in my shoes, what would you advise me?

This quite pathetic. It is only a fool that walks into a hole even when there are indications telling and showing there are dangers ahead. You said you husband was always running away from his responsibilities even before marriage, but you let it slide because he didn't have a job then. That alone would have been a red flag indicator for you, but I guess you were carried away by the fantasies of love. Now reality has dawn on you and you want to walk away from the marriage. My advice for you as recommend by others is for you to table the matter before both families and let them know that if he does change is attitude, you would be gone from the marriage eventually, else na you go be the man and the woman of the house till thy kingdom come o.

Politics / Re: Increase In Wages, Reversal Of PMS Pump Price: TUC Lists Demands To FG by forerunner022(m): 8:07am On Jun 05, 2023
Right way to go. TUC and NLC should be on the same page of demands from FG. Ordinarily, if Tinubu understands what hardship is all about he would have increased workers salary without agitations from the citizens. Removal of fuel subsidy is a good move. But once the price of fuel goes up, all other goods and services goes up with it, yet salaries remains the same. How is that reconcilable?

Politics / Re: NLC North & South-West Will Not Join The NLC Strike Against Fuel Price Hike by forerunner022(m): 4:05pm On Jun 04, 2023
Divide and rule game. The oppression will continue. Tinubu and his money bags will always look for a way to discredit NLC proposed strike. But NLC North and South should not forget that an injury to one is an injury to all. Are we suppose to be talking about NLC North and South and East? They want to find a way to ethnicticize NLC. While I'm in support of the fuel subsidy removal, I do not support it's abrupt stoppage, and I support the strike to make govt provide safety nets towards cushioning the effects of the removal. Let's think Nationalistic instead of sectionalism.
