Agreed only in part. For the main reason that housemates that are by products of Uti/Denreles selection process or products of the open auditions or combination of both can be worthy housemates that will give viewers value for their time. That's all.

And nope, someone or some people somewhere can do something about the selection process.

I think it’s done to frustrate punters and people who have built armies for voting. If anything I enjoy the odds and see it more as a way to solidify the love I have for an old housemate. There’s no amount of excitement these ones will bring to make me change my top 5:

2. Tacha
3. Tacha
4. Tacha
5. Tacha

I don’t have the financial or emotional means to invest in anybody else but these chosen housemates. I won’t also mind to see a new set enter after the second month to keep things interesting. Everyone is looking for fame and passing through the house’s walls will guarantee it even without a win.

And to think the organisers of the show put up a grand sham all in the name of auditions, and ended up wasting the time, effort and money of millions of youths, only to present these bunch of clowns who haven't got a clue as to what being a big brother housemate is all about as their housemates is overall irritating and unbelievable.

That is why someone like Tacha can confidently stroll into the house and keep harassing Big Brother, DSTV, other housemates and viewers about how she is not there to compete, about her army of voters, about how she is THE CHARACTERISTICS of the winner, without doing nothing in the house before now.

They all agree that there were lots of outstanding people at their audition venues.

Even if they've been locked away, it wouldn't be for four weeks. You will know with the way they interact that they've been watching from outside. Just last night, Enkay was asking Frodd why he cries so much. How did someone locked away get privy to such information? Bassey and Debie-Rise were narrating their ordeal of being locked away in their hotel rooms for two weeks with zero access to the outside world before joining the others. I'm yet to get any accounts of similar experience from these ones. It's very clear to see that these new guys were handpicked and introduced into the show and they've been chanced to watch the show before coming in.

My sentiments exactly. One of the guys even told khaffi that everyone is in the house for himself and she should remember she is in the house for herself or something along that line.
These guys have viewed this episode of BB are battle ready for the eviction war. Cos all the newbies so to speak are active on social media.
I hate when people fail and are not man enough to own up to their failures. DSTV failed in their selection process and are now trying to cover their dirty assess all in the name of twists. Twists my black nyansh.
If they tell me that all the new housemates are fake housemates, then perhaps I could reason with them.

All the answers to your queries are contained in the last paragraph of my submission. But again if I were a business man, I would get my selection of housemates right. This is the root cause of all these so called twists in the name of additional housemates.
I am sure you saw how all the audition venues were flooded with hopefuls when the auditions were on. Are you telling me that of all the prospects, these are the best they could lay their hands on

I dont know if I am the only one here but I am not impressed with this idea of bringing in additional housemates four weeks into the game. It bestows an unnecessary edge to the new housemates. For instance what was that guy telling Khafi about her being in the house for herself and not for anybody else?

Are the new housemates coming to act out a script? If so whose? Theirs or Biggies? And they are coming in after fortifying their forces just like Tacha did before coming into the house. Mobilising them and putting them on red alert in the event they are up for eviction at any point in time? I see a deliberate effort by Biggie to frustrate Tacha in all this and to prove a point perhaps because of her supposed arrogance.

Let's even step back for a bit and ask the question 'Why is it necessary to introduce new housemates at this time?' Is it that the original housemates are not living up to their billing? If that be the case, then that is an indictment on the quality of DSTV's selection process. And if not, what then is or are the reason(s)?

1..An average Nigerian always join bandwagon because they hate to lose.

2..Had it been the result were shown, lot of voters will port to at least the to 5 teams. Which will eventually spoil market for Bet9ja company.
