They noted the challenges faced in preserving our cultural identity while celebrating its resilience and determination amidst all these challenges.

a) ) Our precious Igbo language and culture are facing serious neglect and rejection, thereby leading to a serious decline in the use of this language.
b) The history and development of the written Igbo language was traced from the Nsibidiera to this day.
c) The importance of the Igbo language's linguistic study, promotion, and sustainability was highly emphasized.
d) The important role of families, governments, schools, Churches, and social gatherings in promoting the Igbo language was highly accented.
Decisions and Resolutions:
Parents should cultivate the habit of teaching the Igbo language to their children, quit giving excuses for their negligence and dereliction of duty, and give them Igbo names as well.


- Prayers and church services should be conducted in the Igbo language in the Southeast.
- The government should establish supervisory committees that will ensure the teaching of
the Igbo language in every school in Southeast.
- Public debates, seminars, conferences, and workshops titled “SAVE OUR HERITAGE”
should be organized to promote and preserve the Igbo language.
- Governors in Igbo land should always address the people in Igbo language, and central
Igbo should be used in every Igbo gathering.
- Scholarships and funds should be offered and made available for Igbo researchers and
students studying the Igbo language in tertiary institutions.
- Business enterprises, Influencers, Content creators, and skit makers should produce and
advertise in Igbo language.
- There should be a day set aside for the remembrance and promotion of the Igbo language,
Heritage, and culture in schools, government offices, and other public centers. Such as a
workday just to wear Igbo cultural wear in all schools, corporate offices, religious centers,
and other public centers.
- Social networks television channels, app stores, and artificial intelligence should be
utilized to promote the Igbo language and culture
- There should be increased financial support for Nollywood to produce more movies in
Igbo, specifically using central Igbo, as well as children’s programs like cartoons and other
kid-friendly content in Igbo language. This will help promote and preserve the Igbo
language and culture for future generations.
- The government should support or build cultural and heritage centers in Igbo land where
the custodians would display artifacts reflecting our heritage, culture, ethics, and values.
- Historic sites, landmarks, and heritage should be preserved and converted into tourism.
Our legislatures should sponsor legislation geared towards preventing the destruction of
such heritage and landmarks that could serve as tourist destinations. These landmarks
should be carved out, marked, and preserved.
Implementation plan:
In all, we must ensure that our language, the very pulse of our culture, must beat strong in
our homes, schools, and communities. Our heritage which is a rich treasure trove of
wisdom, art, and tradition must be cherished and shared with the world. Our ethics and
values, the foundation upon which our society stands must be reflected in our daily lives
and passed on to our children, nurturing them to become the guardians of our legacy.

We, therefore, urge all stakeholders to join hands in promoting and preserving the Igbo language, heritage, and ethics. We must work together to restore the dignity of the Igbo people through their language.

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to beg the Nigerian government to secure his freedom.

Primate Ayodele warned that the embattled IPOB leader would die in detention if he refused to beg the Nigerian government for his freedom.

Ayodele gave the advice during the launch of his 30th “Warning to the Nations” at his church in Lagos on Saturday.

Recall that Kanu is currently locked up by the Department of State Services, DSS, on the orders of the Nigerian government.

This is coming when Southeast governors and senators had agreed to meet President Bola Tinubu to seek a political solution to Kanu’s continued detention.

The IPOB leader has been detained since June 2021 when he was re-arrested in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria.

Since his repatriation, courts have granted Kanu bail but the Nigerian government refused to release him.

However, the popular prophet also disclosed that Nigeria would break up and neither Kanu nor Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho would be responsible.

He noted that Nigeria will break up without a bloodbath, adding that the country will break up from the North.

According to Ayodele: “Nigeria will break but not through Nnamdi Kanu or Sunday Igboho, Kanu should beg the government before he is released or else he will die in jail.

“He should hands off because he lacks the capacity to carry the agitation. [/b]The country will break without a bloodbath, it will be a natural cause.

[b]“Prayer and fasting will not stop it because the spirit of existence is tired. The spirit of our forefathers like Tafawa Balewa is not happy. Nigeria’s break up will start from the North.”
