Good so we should split the country, so that in Yorubaland, the arguemnt over presidency would be between the Ekiti, Akure, Ilorin, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos man, and in Biafra, Enugu, Onitsha, Bende, Owerri, Abakaliki people would fight each other for presidency, and in the North, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Jigawa would fight for presidency of Arewa

The problem is not tribalsim

1.Most of you don't want to do the hard work of developing your states

2.Most of you thhink that government is all about sharing money...a mentality you carry from your family level (your brother makes it, and you guys will bug him to share money, even when his wife and kids have needs, and when he dies, you share his property).

Stop the sharing mentality, and maybe things will improve.

The number one problem is tribalism.
An Enugu man has more in common with an Anambra man than a Borno man.

Even if there will be differences, it will be very minimal. Not like in Nigeria where Buhari will come and impose Fulani cows and Sharia Supreme Court chief judge, Muslim Hausa IGP, Army chief etc in everybody.

At least, an Ekiti man will not impose cow on Ekiti people. Their problems will be resolved faster because of language. Rather than Nigeria where every problem has ethnic and religious undertone.

Every Nigerian wants the president to come from their tribe/region.

If you ask them, they say if their tribesmen/region man become president he will help develop their region as he will sentimentaly channel resources to his region while in seat.

So why then are Nigerians not pushing for their regions to be a separate country so that a man from your region will always be your president and he will be doing only things that favors your region at all times?

What is the essence of battling for a "united" country with contrasting regions and then wait for 8, 16, sometimes 20+ years fighting to impose your person as president for 8 years and then return to stagnation while waiting for another 8, 16 or 20+ years for another tenure? When you can have a simpler country with only your region ruled by a person from your region at all times? What is the real essence?
