All centenarians have their own habits and morning routines by which they swear. The world's oldest women attributed their longevity to a daily dose of four strips of bacon, three cans of Miller High Life a day and a shot of good booze at 5 p.m. From daily naps to ice cream, here's what some very old people credit for their lengthy lifespan. 1. “Don’t look at the calendar. Just keep celebrating every day.” 2. “Invest in quality pieces, they never go out of style.” 3. “I make myself go out every day, even if it’s only to walk around the block. The key to staying young is to keep moving.” NBC talked to a 100-year-old doctor who still ran his own practice. He had a few untraditional pieces of medical wisdom to share. 4. “Exercise, to me, is totally unnecessary. I think it’s mostly overrated.” 5. “The use of vitamins? Forget it. And I don’t encourage going to a lot of doctors, either.” 6. “Fall in love, get married. Sex is to be encouraged.” This centenarian shared advice about love, forgiveness, and passion: 7. “Even if you feel hatred, keep it to yourself. Don’t hurt other people for any reason.” 8. “Don’t ever give up on love.” 9. “Nobody else controls you.” 10. “Make time to cry.” 11. "Travel while you’re young and able. Don’t worry about the money, just make it work. Experience is far more valuable than money will ever be.” 12. “Don’t compare. You’ll never be happy with your life. The grass is always greener.” 13. “If you are embarrassed to be dating someone, you should not be dating them.” 14. “Do one thing each day that is just for you.” 15. “Don’t be a cheapskate.” 16. “Forgive.” 17. “Find your passion and live it.” 18. “Most time things will figure themselves out.” 19. “Choose the right parents.” 20. “Have a pet. Life gets lonely sometimes. Pets are reminders of how we’re all living things.” 21. “I’m not saying you have to practice one religion or another, or not practice one religion or another… I’m just saying that you should figure out what you believe in and live it completely.” 22. “Learn to adapt.” 23. “Take time to mourn what you’ve lost.” For Adrine Lee, the key to longevity lies in four simple steps: 24. “Keep going and never give up.” 25. “Make yourself walk.” 26. “I drink the faucet water.” 27. “Don’t just die all because you want to.” And then there’s advice about how to find happiness. 28. “Life is fun. It’s all up to the person. Be satisfied. You don’t have to be ‘happy’ all the time, you need to be satisfied.” 29. “Love people. Find something to like about the person—it’s there—because we’re all just people.” For others, the key is in education. 30. “Get a great education. That is something that no one can take away from you.” click the link below for the remaining tips https://www.fiverr.com/emmanuelwrites/conduct-a-thorough |

Chronic pain is pain that lasts a long time.
Pain is a very personal and subjective
experience. There is no test that can measure
and locate pain with precision. Pain may
occur in a variety of locations in the body
and for many different reasons, patients and
their health professionals need to work
together to identify the causes and
symptoms of that pain and how it can be
relieved. Certain chemicals in food may
trigger the release of neurotransmitters that
heighten this sensitivity depending on the
amount ingested. Here are foods that may
cause pain in your body:
1. Meat
Meat contains purines (more than any other
foods) which contribute to chronic pain.
When you ingest dietary purines, your body
breaks them down into uric acid which can
form into crystals that deposit in the joint
which can cause the excruciatingly painful
condition referred to as gout. Likewise, meat
is also high in fats containing omega-6 fatty
acids called arachindonic acid, which can
cause inflammation and pain particularly
when you consume too few omega-3 fatty
acids which are found in fish, walnuts,
soybean and spinach. Moderate consumption
of meat protein is recommended since the
liver is in charge of processing it, and a high
diet can overload the liver which could lead
to pains and other diseases.
2. Gluten
This is the major protein found in cereal
grains such as wheat, rye, barley, some
processed oats and many processed foods. A
recent study showed that many people had
sensitivity to gluten in which the body saw
gluten as a foreign pathogen and released
inflammation to fight it. An inflammatory
response can be very painful, and if you are
gluten intolerant but ingest gluten on a
regular basis, you may have chronic
inflammation causing widespread pain. So
the happy bi-product of resolving to go
gluten-free also means you will also have to
give up most of all processed foods! You will
feel so much better without them.
3. Eggs
Egg yolks also contain arachindonic acid,
which studies have shown is one of the main
fatty acids involved in inflammation. Diets
high in arachindonic acid may lead to a
constant level of inflammation, and thus,
pain.
4. Beer
Research shows that drinking as few as two
beers each week can increase your risk of
getting the painful condition gout by a
quarter. And the more beer you drink, the
higher your chances of getting gout are.
Drinkers who had two beers per day had a
200 percent increased chance of getting the
disease. That’s most likely because beer is
high in purines, which convert to uric acid in
the body.
5. Aspartame
It is the artificial sweetener found in some
diets sodas and many sugar-free sweets.
Aspartame is part of chemical group called
excitotoxins which activate neurons that can
increase your sensitivity to pains
6. Fried foods
Many foods are fried in oils high in omega-6
fatty acids. While your body needs a balance
of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, the
key word is balance. Unfortunately, the
typical Western diet lacks this balance.
According to one study, the omega-3 to
omega-6 ratio should be 1:1; however, in the
typical Western diet it is about 1:15 or even
more out of whack! Omega-6 fats at this high
of a level in the human body are pro-
inflammatory, which can lead to
inflammation and chronic pain.
7. MSG- Monosodium Glutamate
Additives such as Monosodium glutamate
(MSG) often cause trouble for pain patients.
MSG is an excitatory neurotransmitter that
stimulates pain receptors. MSG amplifies and
enhances flavour in foods. It is responsible
for the umami taste of food additives such as
seasoning cubes and found naturally in
tomatoes and cheese
8. Trans fats
These are fats created industrially by adding
hydrogen to unsaturated fats in order to
create the solid and desirable cooking
properties of saturated fats (bad fats). They
are found in baked goods, shortenings,
cakes, fried products, margarine and
processed snacks. According to the study,
trans fats may increase inflammation in your
body, which can cause all-over pain and
discomfort.
9. Processed foods
These foods come in a bag, box, package, or
can and are altered from their natural state
in a way for safety reasons and convenience.
They may cause chronic pain and
inflammation for a number of reasons. Some
of the pain causing ingredients you may find
in processed foods include gluten, trans fats,
high levels of omega-6 fatty acids, and
artificial chemicals. Source: https://fosachens..com/2017/06/foods-that-cause-pains.html |
