Government is too lenient on terrorists and their sympathizers. The government need a secret hit squad to eliminate enemies of the state. Terrorize the terrorists...those in jails, poison them slowly.

Terrorist have killed over a million Nigerians we should be eliminating the demons.

Government need a secret squad for elimination of terrorists leaders, sponsors and sympathizers, nobody needs to know. A terrorist has no rights, all is fair in war, terrorists have since declared war on Nigeria, we are looking like zombie...ask Russian government to teach you how to deal with terrorists.

True, i was at a pharma store and was told they would have to sell off the ones on shelf before they reduce price and that dollars have to be stable.

When dollar rate rises, they will immediately increase prices of old items in their stores and tell us that it'll affect them when they want to restock.

When the rate drops as it is dropping now, they will tell us they have to sell off their old stocks since they bought the products at higher amounts.

The bottom line is, majority of Nigerians are super greedy, selfish, and wicked.

You've been embedded by the Nigerian mentality of crass and rass. Always raising voices without courtesy. Please can I get a divorce is a sane thing to do because unlike here where you can just carry matchet or fight she can sue him for felony attempted murder with bodily harm which may send him to jail for a long time depending on which state and the rule of law there

The word please is just him been human not been a Nigerian like us here wey everything na gbas gbos with cuss words.

Not every Nigerian do 'gbas-gbos'.

My friend who is Naval officer, left his house and only returned to pick up an item he forgot but met his wife in the act with his neighbour. The officer just walked past them, took what he wanted and left the house without saying a word.

Run along boy to your next red piller youtube video to make you bloat and mask your timidity

Why bother yourself with a moniker who switched from the topic to what name you decided to go with because he doesn't have points to sustain the argument he started.

Lots of these kids who see themselves as 'redpillers' are suffering from identity theft and bitterness.
They try to act out what they've heard and read on paper after their a$$es must have been dumped by the village girls they were with.

I always ignore any kid who mentions redpill because their only definition to it is, treating ladies badly, and have no idea of what it really means.

Business / Re: CBN Raises Benchmark MPR By 200 Basis Points To 24.75% by frankson1(m): 4:16pm On Mar 26
Freethinker87:

CBN is lending to banks at 25%, banks will lend to businesses with an interest, so 32% is a fair estimate. Some businesses won't survive such high interest repayment so they'll fold. Businesses who do, will pass that cost to their customers.

So in football terms, expect prices of locally produced goods and services to go up. Expect layoffs, poverty and austerity in the coming months. While Chief Tinubu celebrates lowering inflation rate in Aso rock.

It also means that banks can give their customers higher interest rates.

It's still low compared with inflation rate! Inflation is currently 28% and interest should be above that; we are still operating negative interest rate (real).

For me to buy government bonds, interest rate on the bonds must be higher than inflation rate for me to make profit.

CBN is on the right path with the increase, but not enough, it needs to be raised higher as inflation rate rises.

Good job CBN!

I think it's going to be gradual. After this period, they will study and see how well it has done.

You have no clue. Inflation is sky high and you are talking about folding the economy with money to promote new businesses. Secondly, this is being done to further stabilize the naira by attracting fresh portfolio investment. Do you understand all this?

It means interest rate has increased.
It will scare people from borrowing.
And those who borrow will have to increase their cost price which will increase the selling price, thereby making inflation higher.

Don't compare the US to any other country. They can always print money and pay their debts. Until the dollar is dumped, the US will not go down. Wish it happens very quickly then they'll go broke immediately because they will not be able to maintain the responsibility they've put upon theirself

The point is, the US is 'onigbese' too and if countries are to be identified by the debts they owe, the US would definitely be among.

I've been with people who's monthly take is over N4m that are still gambling.

They don't understand that there are different types of warfare depending on the agenda of the superior (and invading) nation.

War of Attrition: "I want to remain in your country for a long time" OR "I just wan thief your resources." "I'm here to stay." "You can't drive me out of your country." This is the kind of war the US likes to fight in the 21st century.
The downside is, it costs a lot of money and loss of men because they are not in a hurry.

Maneuver warfare: "We want this war to be over as soon as possible". Think Japan and Germany during WW2.

Think about the overthrow of Muhammar Gadaffi in Libya or that of Saddam Hussein of Iraq (though that was a combo of Attrition and maneuver as they deposed Hussein within 24 hours and stayed put for a while to steal some resources grin. As much as I love the US, Dem sef be thief, just that I believe that the angel you know, is better than the demon you don't know).

You can understand why Russia is taking things easy and bit by bit in Ukraine.
