It was nothing short of a coincidence that the person who took Sound Sultans most popular photograph would eventually become a celebrated artist like him eventually.

That is Adekunle Gold's story as he finally got the chance to narrate how he photographed Sound Sultan at a Studio in Ogba back in 2007.

Adekunle God explains further on his page.
"SO I FINALLY GOT THE CHANCE TO TELL @soundsultan HOW I MET HIM 9 YEARS AGO. I WAS JUST A PHOTOGRAPHY ENTHUSIAST WORKING AT XDS STUDIO AT OGBA. NAIJA NINJA WALKED INTO OUR STUDIO FOR A PHOTO SESSION. I WAS SO PSYCHED. I LOBBIED TO TAKE HIS PICTURES AND GOAL GETTER THAT I AM NA , I DID IT WITH JOY AND ALSO EDITED THE PICTURES. HE WAS SUPER KIND, PLAYFUL AND THAT WAS THE FIRST THE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE OF WHAT CELEBRITIES ARE LIKE. 9 YEARS LATER , THE BOY THT PHOTOGRAPHED THE LEGEND NOW PERFORMS WITH THE LEGEND. GOD IS GOOD.

I believe A.Y could have simply stated that she was his sister rather than confusing his fans even further.

Not too long ago, there was news about comedian A.Y's girlfriend who left him while struggling as a show promoter in the university.
He has come out with an Instagram post to refute those claims saying people should get their facts right.


He wrote "I read on some Nigerian blogs how my girlfriend @bimbimakun_olukoya dumped me in the university because of one rich man.
I wish to let you all know that we ate still very much together. My wife @midas_interious approves of our relationship...and she has grown from that campus girlfriend to a mother of three lovely kids. #getyourfactsright".
