The ministry of sports knew before hand the falcons were going for this tournament. It is expected they would have included the cost of this in their budget they submitted to the president. The budget got approved. So why is the ministry of sports refusing to pay the players? Why does the president have to intervene before players receive money already budgeted for?

Sometimes presidents mean well. But the incompetence of the civil service in Nigeria will always be a problem.
