Life can be so cruel that you don't even get a second trial let alone a third. Imagine I have a. Business idea that'd cost me saving for like 15 years on present income to be financially capable to execute the idea then 15 years later I try for the first time and fail. I then try to get people to buy into the idea so we can execute it together to no avail, approach rich men who dont buy into the business idea. Do I then save for another 15 years to try again? Or do I just jettison the idea? It's a rhetorical question.

Most, like my imaginary self up there, barely get one. Almost all don't even get a second chance and only a negligible percentage get a third chance. This is why having a rich family is one of the greatest ways to succeed, you imagine what failure is like as a poor person and the picture isn't pretty at all. No roof over your head, deep starving hunger, faded clothes, deep depression and regrets. If you're a married man with kids it's even a more bleaker outlook. A person from a rich family simply views failure as he still living the same standard that he has only without some luxury he/she can easily do without

I got your point, but there are many ways to make money, many things to try out but putting your 15 years saving in a single basket , in a business you aren’t familiar with is not cool

Start a service that will generate constant revenue, and after saving from that, you can be channeling a % of it on your ideas

When I first tried my hands on ecommerce site, I discovered it’s not that hard as people think. Then I sold it, I did another one and it failed 😞 😂

That’s when I go back to drawing board as I’ve understood few things better out of pain.

I built a classified site, it’s doing well for me, close friends and few others. Then, I did another one dedicated on a particular niche - currently growing and not doing so good as I thought 😂

Now, if I decide to build a general one, it won’t stress me much as I’ve got sweeet and harsh lessons.

😃, it’s too easy to be successful but the problem is many people lack the mental strength to push on after failing in their first two trials, they were unable to see through the failure, the secret is you must learn one or two things from your mistakes or failure that will guide you to do well next time

Watch out for criticism and analyse it and work on it base on your interest, critics are also good, e.g when someone said there is nothing special about your website, ask yourself why he said that, or put it to him arrogantly and he would angrily pure out some valuable points .

Access and analysis those points , pick some to work on and discard some, that’s how to grow
