The safest way to buy a car in Nigeria of today is to walk in to Toyota office or u go to Honda place or any company that sells a brand new car n buy a brand new car mint. There u can get every document u demand on this earth.
Any other method u use apart from d one I said above contains some elements of risk.
Every car dealer n buyer understands this risk and this does not mean one party is trying to play on d other. It is garbage in garbage out. It is what d market gives. It is d condition of d country. This is Nigeria n not England. There is no proper documentation in this country. We all kno that. Nobody shud come here n start claiming holier than thou. If u feel this car doesn't hav all d documents on this earth, then u can go n buy a brand new one n u will understand d difference between 600k n 3.5 million Naira. U can't hav it both ways. It is either u pay 600k n take some risk in ur life or u pay 3.5 million n b very safe.

Just this year alone, I can say I have sold exactly 11 cars courtesy of Nairaland.com. No one has said anything negative about me except Bakersss. The said old man that came to attend to him is a Pastor n the d owner of evangelical ministry. That man can never cheat u cos he understands d consequences even more than u Bakerss do. U must reap whatever u sow. Me on my own part I still work with a company, I only hav chance only on saturdays n Sunday. Therefore I was not able to c Bakerss.
I have told u the history of this 1999 used airport taxi. U don't expect me to still hav d original purchasing receipt of a 1999 used car that has passed through more than 5 hands. But once d original particulars r intact with d custom papers u hav got no problem. Am not new in this business cos I hav sold more than 38 cars in d past three years courtesy of this website. I kno I can't satisfy everyone but if I can satisfy 11 out 12 customers this year, I believe am still an A-candidate. I rest my case.
