NEW FTMO Free Challenge Account.

Going to Follow same System.

A Little Reminder to my very own self.

I have never passed a Free Challenge or a Paid Challenge i Blew all the Accounts i have traded both Free and Paid Prop Accounts.

This was the First Challenge i have ever passed, following The System Consistently.

FXtrader2025:
Monday APRIL 7th

Short on GU
SL: 1.29028
TP: The 1.28500

Took Partials at 1:1
Then BE on this GU trade.

Breakeven HIT!!
I took Partials at 1:1 and moved SL to BE
Ended up with 1:1 for the day

Also i passed the FTMO challenge i set up last Wednesday
Was able to Pass Today Monday.
Thats 4 trading Days .

I am working on a Mechanical Trading System with a Low RR and high win rate. already testing it on a Free FTMO Challenge. Backtested data is very promising i am forward testing now before going live again.

I will be Backtesting 100 trades to get enough info on the Strategy

I hate slow pairs. I want to be done with my trade as soon as possible, profit or loss.

AH slow Pairs are Joy killers, never going near that Pair again

So i went back to the Drawing Board after taking lots of losses and blowing accounts.
I have been trading a particular Strategy for like a Year now and to be honest its been hell of a ride.
Even though its not advisable to change strategies but I believe having a Strategy with less complication suits me most. And also i learned that My Focus and Patience Threshold is not much.


So i started test Running a New Strategy on an FTMO free Challenge and the Results are kind of Good
Quick Trades 1:2RR and i spend less than 1hr or lets 2hr Max in the Market its either TP or SL
And the results is going good
I will take around 3 Free FTMO through out the Month of April to test it Properly and build Confidence in it.

Day 3 (Wednesday)

Long on AU

My Trade for the Week and also my first time trading AUDUS, though i kind of deviated a little bit from my Trading Session Rules, of Just London and NY, AU also moves in the Asia Session, i took the Trade on AU session around 1:00am after getting all confirmations and Confluence.

Stoploss Tightened
I didnt close the Position even though AU is moving Sideways for now and the CPI News for the Currency also came out Negative.
Will be Positioning on the Pairs a regularly trade.
Lesson Learnt today i no go near this pair again, its too slow for my liking.

I use formula to get games accurately it has never failed since weeks. Let test it with this game below the formula says away to win but since it is in a poor form let just watch it to see the result don't play it I just want to apply the formula here.

@bolded, same to you too. I actually use this thread of yours as motivation and some form of accountability too. I wanted to create a thread similar to yours documenting my journey but i know i wont be consistent enough to see it through the end(i don't like writing a lot)

Yeah, got my self out of drawdown(2%) looking forward to passing my phase 1 challenge account next week or more. no pressure.
Missed a trade that hurts so much it felt like i took a loss . could have been up 3% .

Lol you see that Pain, dump it now o dont carry it to Next week, it will make you take shitty trades.
The Funny thing that happened to me was my Account was like 7.5% in drawdown and max drawdown was 8% so i concluded that the account was gone.
Took a trade yesterday and made 3% lol.
I will be getting a new Account though, you know Prop Firms are thieves sometimes they wont tell you that you made a mistake or violated a rule until you’ve passed the Challenge.

of course thats what i have been doing and making Good Profits.
Chasing every setup is a no for me, i will only be looking out for A+ setups from Wednesday to Friday with atleast 1:3RR

I think you should get a book and write your trade plan in it. You can ask chatgpt for a trade plan template.just keeping it in your head is not enough. I don't journal my trade but having a 20 pages worth of information filled with my trade plan help me stay organized!. I go over this while I am about to open a position, I go over it during the weekends, Are you a swing trader? I found out that I was very disciplined following my trade plan as a Player than a day trader!

I still think it risk management though! In January of this year I had a 40% win rate but I still made 8.51% in profit that month.

About the FOMO part, that a real sh*t you got there. Although I am not 100% free from FOMO, following my trade plan helped me IMMENSELY! The realization that so long as I have an edge put in a plan made me know there will ALWAYS be setup!

Thats the Plan Boss.
I will write my Trading Plan and Checklist then paste it on my Laptop whenever i will be taking a trade.
I blew the Accounts not because of Risk Management but because of emotions, i got frustrated and just blew the whole thing! You know there are times you just feel like you've hit a wall.
I was so disciplined last year, i was swing trading then, but due to just trying to move fast, i started scalping which was my greatest undoing.
i will just Start Sticking to my Plan henceforth. I got burnt chasing early gratification.

After a loss I cut risk in half. I never risk more than 1 percent per trade. If I take a 1%loss I use 0.5% risk on the next trade. If I take a 0.5% loss I use a 0.25% risk on the next trade. It will take me 15 to 18 losses back to back for me to blow my funded challenge account currently!

If your risk is very minimal, you won't revenge trade as it will mean nothing to you(I am assuming you have accepted losses as part of the game here). But what do I know I am still in the process of passing my challenge account.

Its not like i am over risking. I have been trading the Account since November ‘24. The Frustration of making 3 steps forward and 5 backwards is whats killing me.
And the thing is i find it very hard to do the boring things, like Going through my Journal before taking a trade, Making sure i have a checklist before pressing the buy or sell button and to cap it all conquering my inner demons!! Especially FOMO
I will do everything right but just fckup when its the moment of Truth.
I will be Funding my Live Account and Get a New Prop account for Next week.
Talking about losses i am so neck deep that i cant quit. Besides it doesnt even bother me because i can afford to blow the Challenge accounts and also afford to blow $100 account.
My problem is, I wanted to move very fast which is counterproductive in FX.
All the same we go again and again until Victory!!

thats what i am battling with.
Impatience!! FOMO, i just have to be super rigid and disciplined.
Keeping my emotions in check is the biggest hurdle i am facing right now

Going to work on Patience (Impulses) and FOMO.
I take Decisions out of FOMO and forget about my Trading Plan.
