As the entertainment industry rotation-ally motion through phases and beyond the height previously anticipated by most, with each phase accompanied by fascinating and peculiar dance move that becomes a trending symbol in streets; most time is triggered by spice-full beats originated by updated and innovative producers, so as our clubs keep absorbing the shoe pressures of thousand adults and teenagers trying to flaunt and showcase the crazy and funny dances invoke.

However, the funny features of such dances like ‘ Alanta,’ ‘Itigi’ and ‘shoki’ specifically, and the picture (slowpoke look or crippled look) they give the individuals exhibiting these features in form of dance has transported my mind into wondering how the originators of such dances get the inspiration.

From observation which may be wrong, mimicking of disabled and deformed people is behind the inspiration and invention of these dance moves in the industry. Or if you are not convinced, mirror yourself properly when dancing any of these dances mentioned and make a remark about the act if it is pleasing to the eye assuming you fall under any of these categories being mocked. Better still, you can stage a prize-winning dance (shoki, Itigi and Alanta) competition in your neibor hood and invite kids to compete, then carefully observe them and make your conclusion. But be rest assured that the outcome of your observation would be in line with mine, although not 100%.

As a hypocritical shoki dancer am saying this: ‘any secular gathering of celebration warranting people to dance any of such dances is an outlet for mimicking, mocking and discriminating against deformed individuals unknowingly

DESTRUCTIVE TRUTH
A truth immersed into pool of lies would absorb molecules of lie into its content-circumference_ malicious and perilous it becomes. A destructive truth is a truth when told ruins and bring about calamitous consequences. Think wise and intuitively weigh the consequences a truth may yield; not to be a victim, or making someone else a scape goat of destructive truth. According to records, such truth has claimed more life than natural disaster. Thus, such truth should be concealed or replaced with a lie to prevent deadly eventualities.

In brief, truth is a statement that conforms to reality which is strongly embraced by virtually all religions in the world. But the question is: should this truth be told when its content may risk the life of your entire family, friends and the society? I say no!

From records, the world has rarely recorded cases where a father, be it a prelate, who attested against his own son in the court of law just to grab the glory behind being faithful and strict. If any man does, investigate properly, something far beyond being truthful is underneath.
I could remember a truth I told as I child growing up that caused a fight between two of my friends. This deadlock lasted and almost claimed their lives as each of them were desperate to emerge as victors in the conflict. I regretted ever saying such truth but thank God for the intervention of a passerby.

His was labeled with Messiah-like names such as God-sent, savior and Martin Luther king both by old and poor.
As fate may have it, a turbulent day prevailed with frowns at this humane and innocent man. On this day he was ambushed by some political

thugs with reason that he had always stood on his ground not to trade off his social and civic responsibility for peanuts offered to him by the ruling political tyrants. He managed to slip out of their hands and ran to a fortress where he hid and was breathing out the tension threat of death has infused in him. These mobs traced him to a venue close to the building he was hiding but were not sure of his hiding position.

An old man who has been a beneficiary of the strides and generosity of bassey was standing at 90 degrees towards the building Bassey was hiding and was aware he was in there. When the mobs saw the old man and approached him with sophisticated weapon hung around there necks, they asked him in ferocious tune to tell them the hide out of bassey, he refused. They tried all possible means to make him confess but there effort was futile. As they were about to disperse, one of them brought out bundle of money and proposed to give him if only he divulges to them the hiding position of bassey. Which he did speedily (which is the destructive truth I have been making emphasis on) and they found and be headed bassey.

This is a true life tragedy which has reduced once a developing community into deserted auditorium of poverty.
Beware of telling destructive truth; for its consequences are hazardous to human race….

The devil with his cunning, ticklish and barbaric nature approached one of the feeblest and vulnerable part of man, rib; which could be lured even to dance by mere tickling. According the bible, this subtle part of man was in the form of a woman when Lucifer presented a truth decorated with elements of lie; knowing her resistance would not be sufficient to deter his charm and power of negative conviction. He succeeded in his quest and this has cost man a fortune such as Eden and vandalized there once flourishing relationship with God.
From the above story one could distinctly apprehend the enormity and effect of this concept and how difficult it is to replenish the damaged parts (Eden is lost).
