Hi Friends, I know you have discussed a lot on the crossing of RS-232 Cables but I have a query still. My laptop port has a provision for a Cable of 15pins which means that I cannot connect my Technosat T-888 plus to it since the Receiver has only 9 pins. Is it possible to get a cable that can match those 2 differences? If not, please advise. Many thanks. |

Hello George D, Thanks a bunch for your info, I'll use it profitably. I appreciate. |
Hi Nash, Appreciation for all your efforts. I am geman based in Kampala, Uganda. I must apologize for not responding to the topical issue, however, I need your input on challenge. I have moved around in Kampala looking for shops with Satellite equipment like big dishes(2.4m and above), serious LNBs like Fuji, Inverto and Invacom, Receivers of MPEG4 format etc but can't seem to find any. I am tempted to think that Nairobi and Mombasa could be having shops that sell such equipment since lots of equipment that come to Ug among other few routes, come through Kenya. Could you please give me some info on these shops particularly their contacts? For your own information, I am interested in getting a Solid 2.4m Pole mount motorized dish, a very good LNB preferably Fuji or Inverto Ultra Black quad and an MPEG-4 Receiver/ decoder. I want to track Badr6 (26East) for fox series and Fox movies and then Nilesat (7East). Your advice on this will also be treated with the utmost regard. Many thanks. |
Hi ya'll, Please share with me the same info on how to surf the net for free. My address; jkmaiden38@yahoo.com I'll be very grateful. |
Hey George, Many thanks for your response, I appreciate. God bless ya. |
Thanks George. I live in Uganda and it's not easy to come by some of the best LNBs like Fuji Inverto, to mention but a few. However, I came across a Fuji HD lnb (Ku) and am wondering whether this lnb can work on my Technosat T-888 receiver. The receiver isn't HD, please advise. Secondly, I managed to nail C band for Arabsat 5A at 30.5 East but do you think it is possible to nail ku on the same in Uganda? For specs, I have a 1.8m Solid dish that is ground mounted. |
Could some one please advise me on how to make my GTV decoder fta so as to watch some channels from various birds? I have been keeping it for a long time and I think probably there's a genius out there that can help me with some spot on advice. geman |
