Well in graphics, a portion of each pixel's data that is reserved for transparency information. 32-bit
graphics systems contain four channels -- three 8-
bit channels for red, green, and blue (RGB) and
one 8-bit alpha channel. The alpha channel is
really a mask-- it specifies how the pixel's colors
should be merged with another pixel when the
two are overlaid, one on top of the other.
Typically, you wouldn't define the alpha channel
on a pixel-by-pixel basis, but rather per object.
Different parts of the object would have different
levels of transparency depending on how much
you wanted the background to show through. In a nut shell alpha channel is how transparent a object is or how transparent u want it. An object with an alpha channel is a mask of that object. Hope that helped

You can draw it on a piece of paper nd scan it into your computer or if u have a tablet you can draw it straight to ur pc nd use it as a texture reference in cinema 4d

Not really, if u have a good eye, but its important to get a reference in ur scene so u can get an accurate model, if u can draw yes, if can't u can get a character blue print online nd tweak to what u have in ur head

Yes you can work with cinema 4d and aftereffects with ur mini laptop but when you start doing really dynamic works u will have to upgrade. But for a start up it should do

Well Its not that difficult, since it just a picture so I can tell u what went into making it, mayb with photoshop I can. But from what I can see here it just compositing nd few animation, if u can show me the link of the video mayb I can make a video tutorial specially for u
