This is not the time to spew insult on President elect of the United State, but a time to demand for reparation and all other entitlement that is rightfully ours.... Slavery reparation could cost up to 14 trillion dollars, according to new calculation by Douglas Main on the 19th August 2015 on Europe news week.com, this fund could be utilize for developmental purpose on Afrikan soil and for the betterment of our youth if it is given to us. On the 3rd January 2016 the outgoing president of the United State Barrack Obama while in power signed an executive order that will trigger the repayment to large percentage of the black population reparations dating back to slavery, and each Afrikan - American will receive $2,000 (Two Thousand dollars) a year either in cash or in kind. But the Republican strike back saying the fund Obama intended to use for such project could be used on other things. my brothers it is clearly outlined that the Republican has nothing in store for the blacks in the United State and diaspora. It is painful that we of Afrikan descent don't have high degree of thinking without apology, which in turn is affecting our actions and not minding the reactions. The time is here for us to chastised ourselves in order to work inline with the aim and objectives of our past revolutionists such as Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and my humble prophet Marcus Mosiah Garvey Jr. Who trust and believed in Afrikan reparation and repatriation. We are at lost in all ramifications both economically, educationally and financially wise in this struggle for reparation, look at the level of illiteracy in our continent where fussing and fighting is the order of the day. We can not alter the past but let us structure the future for the benefit of our children and we shouldn't be ashamed of our colour, it is a badge of greatness. Let us stand on our feet and not on our knees as cowards because the lives of our youth depends on it. Instead of fighting unjustly and not be heard, fight for a just cause as it has been said by the king of kings and lord of lords, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Hail Selassie I Jah Rastafari in an interview in his palace garden that "in a battle of just cause, David will still beat Goliath" because igziabher God is by his side as he will be with us in our struggle for reparation. Let the whole of Afrikan rise and unite in peace, love, harmony and strength to seek reparation from the hands of our downpressors now that our black brother has handed over the mantle of leadership back to them the whites, this is the right time to ask for what is rightfully ours. We must wake up from our slumber and fight for our right as free black men, we shouldn't give peace to those who used us, abused us, raped our sisters, tortured our brothers, steal our resources and murdered our parents now that they are back in power. Tell them we are now awake from our slumber and not asleep anymore, let them understand the extent of damage they have done to our skin and land so that the souls of our beloved brothers and sisters thrown overboard the slave ships called the Pinta, the Nina and Santa Maria and others own by the back raw masters (Slave masters) will rest in perfect peace. IZWELETHU AFRIKA!!! MAYIBUYE AFRIKA!!! |
Religious intolerance and violence continue to rage among Muslim and Christian faith since their inception in Afrika, setting off division among us as a race. The colonial masters overshadowed us with their religion to the point that we set aside the way of life of our forefathers and neglect our ancestors, killing each other due to religion differences. We were forced to accept Muslim and Christian religion during the time of slavery 548 years ago, when slaves taken to America from Afrika were forcefully converted to Christians and same goes to the ones taken to middle east where majority are Muslims, slavery is evil and this practice of force conversion of believe has a negative impact on blackism. Lord help me, Allah Akbar was the language of the day given to us by the colonial masters, slave driver, back raw master to fool me and you in order to continue working for them day and night with the fear of averting punishment from God by obeying your masters command "I smile" this is ridiculous. We have been ridiculed for a very long time, lied to about our forefathers way of life as irrelevant. They make mockery of our ancestors calling them false name, idols. In Afrika we don't look down or neglect a god for another, rather we pay eulogy to as many as there is. The Yorubas of Nigeria have many deity they worship like Sango, Oya, Orunmila, Obatala, Ogun and many others. An individual can communicate with all at the same time, because they believe the gods are messengers sent by Olodumare (God). The Christians and Muslims claim to worship one God but end up fighting for supremacy, who God love the most and which of the believes is accepted by God. We need to take pride in our race as Afrikan and not Afrikan't, appreciate the culture, history and ancestors of our forefathers thus shunning borrowed religion and faith from slave masters would give a boost to unity, love, strength and harmony these will make us forget our differences and be knowledgeable without apology. As a patriotic Afrikan we will not relent nor get tired of freeing our brothers and sisters who are still imprisoned by colonial masters brainwashed religion and mental slavery, Marcus Mosiah Garvey Jr once said " A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots" let us go back to our root, stand aloof false religion and their prophets and say no to white supremacy. The day we stand on our feet, it's game over for the downpressors!!! Ubuntu!!! Azania Blood!!! Izwelethu Afrika!!! Mayibuye Afrika!!! |
Nepotism among the bourgeoisie, politicians and corruption in the Armed forces and other security agencies has finally pave way for breach of security in Nigeria, which in turn facilitate the free inflow of illegal arms and other sophisticated weapons in the country. The unchecked free flow of arms in the country among other devastating consequences, undermines peace, intensifies violence and impact on crime. The increasing availability of weapons has helped drives the rising of insecurity and crime in Nigeria. Guns are commonly used to commit range of violence acts, like Terrorism, Pipeline vandalism, Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and the unnecessary killings in the southern Kaduna, the government should underscore the scale of problems in the context of a country not at war!!! To my point of view, sixty five percent (65%) of the country is a washed with illicit fire arms most especially the North and South South part of Nigeria. The presence of guns is felt and its having wide range of repercussions in all parts of the country, mostly the above mentioned geopolitical zones where wielding of guns is common and are used to commit high degree of violence... Violent incidents involving fire arms appears to be sharply on the rise and high number of casualties is being recorded. Act of Insurgency, Fulani herdsmen killing, including Armed robbery, Militancy, Kidnapping and other forms of crime involving fire arms are reported daily on News, Social Media and News papers. With the recent discovery of Six Hundred sixty one (661) fire arms by the Customs at mile 2 Lagos, Nigeria on the 30th January 2017. This should have given the government a serious concern that such huge uncontrollable amount of fire arms posed a significant threat to the stability of the nation and undermine national security. The government should take a proactive measures in controlling the inflow of illegal fire arms to avert future crisis, lost of life and properties. Take a look at rate of damage perpetrated by Boko Haram in the north east, the destruction and vandalization of pipelines in the Niger Delta by Avengers and cohorts, the rate of kidnapping, armed robbery in Lagos, Ogun state and other parts of the country. All these crimes are made possible and easy to perpetrate due to the free inflow of arms at their disposal. In the face of widespread of armed violence and crime, the Nigerian government has failed to provide adequate security in checking what comes into the country through sea, land and air because most of the weapons are imported into the country by those at the top who hired some youths and arm them with guns to cause rift during elections and other political gathering for their own benefits. Till date the government has not pursue a comprehensive approach to curtail the widespread circulation of arm and the use to perpetrate illegal activities by the youths. |
