If you want to banter, banter with sense. What you said about Chelsea fan best describe Arsenal fans. Cos how will someone in his right frame of mind be supporting a team that has not won European trophy for over 30 years and also bottles league day in day out. Is that not A-graded foolishness?
The truth about chelsea fans... They're blinded from seeing reality.

A club of one-big wonder against big clubs, but get demolished by lesser clubs on a steady. A team getting 6 red cards in about 12 matches. What a new low level of indiscipline!

Bunch of poor players and coach who fail to make the difference in many matches!

They still get carried away by 'I beat PSG', I beat Barca'. It's time you start fighting for Top 4 now. Your place is not at the top.

Chelsea don't deserve to be in top 3 with their low level players and coach.
This is no team of good calibre abeg.

Saying Rice was “a major thorn for James and Enzo” when Arsenal already had a one-man advantage is actually the lowest defence take I have ever heard.
The moment Caicedo got sent off, Rice disappeared from the midfield battles. Instead of using the extra man to dictate the game, he hid behind sideways passes and empty running.

You don’t call someone a midfield general or a Senoir man in his role, when the opponents are down to 10 men and he still can’t use that advantage. A real senior man doesn’t vanish when the advantage turns tactical. Rice was nowhere when it was time to step up.

And can you explain this, how does a player who “is not even a midfielder” get inverted into midfield, play almost the entire match with one man down, and still carry extra defensive duties, and still walk away with
Man of the Match award in the same midfield role where your “Senoir man” was standing?

Reece James was doing a job outside his natural role, under pressure, and still controlled key midfield moments better than Rice with one man down.

In that match, If Rice was truly the midfield commander as you claim, the award wouldn’t be sitting on James’ table.
Stop mistaking participation for dominance.
What's disturbing is how you find it hard to read the game well. It's wise if you put sentiments apart during football argument.

Truth... My boys were unable to dictate the game as expected. Our attack was poor, and the Plan B 5 & 6 defence we used was struggling. This put higher pressure in midfield for Declan Rice, as the General he is.

Looking at the situation, this was not a game for him to show his usual superiority over Caicedo, Enzo and James. What's left for him was to ensure the midfield didn't collapse completely. He was doing more of defensive work that day.

And he did that well. You might find it hard to notice though.

He was no flop that day. He just didn't get players at their best to connect and roll with.

Look at when Odegaard came in to join him in midfield. The tempo changed quickly.

He was among those who ensured you didn't get all 3 points that day. Amongst other, he's enough as a player to put Chelsea in her place.

For James, days like this occasionally do happen. Rice has won the award many times against tough opponents, consistently playing very impressively. So nothing surprising here.

You should be more concerned about if the accolades will be consistent for him in more matches with Arsenal and others.

Despite playing 52 minutes with ten players, Chelsea had 11 shots, no opponent has done that against Arsenal in EPL this season. During the first half Arsenal had only 2 touches in the Chelsea box, their fewest in the first half of a EPL game since Dec 2021.

Rice seemed to have taken A red card alongside caicedo. Dude disappeared in the presence of king Reece James.
You should know Rice is senior man. He's more matured than to be collecting red cards like the opponents do.

The moment was about defending the midfield position for Arsenal, not dominating the play. And my boy did quite well.

He was a major thorn for James and Enzo. He didn't allow them to take total control of the midfield.

If I were a chelsea fan, I would be hiding my face in shame by now.

Every time we come to your home, it's either you're beaten or you're lucky to get a draw. Stamford bridge is no more a fortress for you whenever Arsenal meet you.

We played against you with none of our two great centre-backs. At your home, we used our Plan B 5 & 6 which we had never used together to start a premier league match.

You still failed to capitalize on this weakness. That's shameful.

My most clinical player in attack (Trossard) was also not on the pitch. My striker was a false 9 (Merino). Still, you let history manifest by failing to beat Arsenal.

I see you title pretenders give the red card excuse. That's your problem, not ours.

Our players also have legs but they are sensible and mature enough not to make a dangerous tackle that could potentially injured opponent's leg severely. Simply put, chelsea lack good discipline.

A team that got 6 cards in about 13 matches can't be taken serious. This is one of the many reasons there's no hope for you in the race.

You should thank God for managing to score first, but our boys responded quite well to deny you a win you didn't deserve.

Although the outcome was not what all Arsenal fans desired, still, we take a lot of positives from the match. At least, we can handle chelsea at their home anytime with just some of our regular starters

Our boys should have won the match and led chelsea by 9 points. This would have sent you out of the title race before December.

Nevertheless, we are still at the top as your King you bow to.

Chelsea is Arsenal's wife everyday, twice on match day.
As usual, we can't wait to have our regular customer at the Emirates!

Hehe

Arsenal people really dey make me laugh. They have been so full of themselves, thinking that they will win Chelsea.

Onething I know is that...I am always confident qhen we play top team, cos Maresca will field a strong squad. Excpet Manure, in which we were undone by the red card, Chelsea have had a good outing against every other Top teams. And arsenal go collect too.

Squad depth dey shack them..when na 11 men go enter for each team.

I am very confident that we are winning the game.
The false confidence has blinded you from seeing the reality. You can't have those bunch of chelsea players and think you stand a chance against Arsenal.

Okay, chelsea beat top teams. Arsenal beat and handled top teams dominantly. Arsenal have got better quality players and depth, rock-solid defence and midfield, and superior strategy and maturity in attack, the team spirit is on a higher level.

We break oppositions' tactics and strategies. We dominate and dictate the flow. Our previous victims can attest to it.

See... Anything can happen in the match, but it seems an uphill task for chelsea to get a win against Arsenal at Stamford bridge.

Looking at it from every angle, it's easy to say chelsea is our next victim.

You being favorite and probably the best team in Europe doesn't still mean you can't lose to them. You might have more quality and experienced players than Chelsea but that doesn't mean they don't have theirs too. Liverpool that has been losing gave you a good game at anfield, man u also did even with their loss and Chelsea have a nack of being unfazed in lots of big games especially now that they know a good result would put them firmly in the title race, even arteta won't underestimate them the way you're doing
Yes... Football does happen sometimes. It's a one game between them on Sunday. No matter how much we do it, our banters and arguments won't stop the outcome of the match.

But some Chelsea fans refuse to acknowledge that Arsenal have been better than them so far this season. Also, they harshly belittle some Arsenal individual players' performance even though the world knows these arsenal players are doing wonderful job every week.

This actually triggers the other side of some Arsenal fans like us to remind them where they belong and put them in their place.

Bro... On Sunday, what will be will be. It's either a team becomes victorious or they share points. However, Gooner fans won't go AWOL whenever Chelsea fans give us hot.
SportsRe: Can The Gunners Pull This Off? by Getbetter(m): 4:53pm On Nov 28, 2025
EasyWinofficial:
Arsenal fans, gather here o! The Gunners are cooking something serious this season, and if you’ve been watching their recent games, you’ll know this comeback run isn’t accidental. After a shaky start, Arsenal is suddenly looking like a team on a mission, high pressing, slick passes, big energy, and players stepping up at the right time.
The question now is simple: Can Arsenal pull off a historic comeback and shock the entire league?
Key players are hitting form, the coach has tightened the midfield, and the squad finally looks balanced again. Even rival fans are starting to whisper, because the momentum is real. Arsenal is climbing with purpose, no jokes, no distractions, just pure football.
And honestly, if they continue like this, anything can happen. A push for top spots? Very possible. A dramatic return to title contention? Still on the table. Football no dey hard to read, a team with confidence can surprise anybody.
What do you all think?
Is this the season Arsenal shakes the table and writes a comeback story we’ll never forget? Or should fans calm down small before excitement carry them away?
Let’s hear your thoughts.
So far, it's been a good season for the gunners. There's a lot of joy seeing your team putting stellar performance every week.

It's been a long time since we've experienced these loads of amazing performance from our boys. We haven't been this good in 15 years.

To be rated as a top club, it requires you have a top squad who are ready to give it what it takes to be champions.

We've got number 1 or 2 best goalkeeper in the world right now. Our defence is nothing short of rock-solid.

Our full-backs are fitter than ever, and doing a great job in their respective positions. Rice is playing the best game of his life.

The communication and understanding between Rice and Zubimendi are amazing. Oppositions hardly break them. We're dominating almost all the matches. We're set-pieces king others want to emulate.

There's more confidence and maturity in the attack. We now have attacking players whom opponents can't easily get ball from.

There's still room for improvement in attacking department though. We should be bagging more goals if our main striker finds his feet and is more clinical in front of goal. Although more goals from set-pieces is covering this part, we can do better.

We can look at our bench anytime and rest assured we've got good reinforcement in all areas to go all the way. We've not been having real injury crisis.

The truth is... Arteta and the board have been making great adjustments in the team for the past 3 years. But we'd been running short at every end because the structure was not yet strong.

It seems this will go on to be a wonderful season for Arsenal. The signals are showing already. But we still have to wait till the end. You know, the end justifies the means.

So Help us God.

Arsenal are currently the most formidable team in the world. You can't expect players like Caicedo, Enzo, Neto to stand tall against these current Arsenal players. They are on pitch to break every opposition tactics and dominate the play.

The setup is massive (you can ask Bayern Munich and other premier league teams). The records and statistics this season tell a lot.

So I meant what I said. Chelsea will be lucky to go away with a draw.
