A laptop does basic video calls, A phone does high-quality video calls.

Of course, I love pixel devices and I still got another as replacement, despite the comments, complaints, and my personal experiences... I chose the pixel because the experience is still net positive for me....but then I've used other brands before that doesn't have this problem, pixels right from my 3xl up till the pixel 8 still have the same problem. It's okay if the problem happens for a certain year or version and they are able to improve and fix it for the next version or at most in the next two version...but not this never ending problem.

Depending on how heavy a task is on a system...we expect that it'll heat up...but pixels heat up too easily

The 7 is okay. However do not use it for heavy stuff such as gaming or extended virtual or online calls.

You will cry.

It's good as a second device, not as your daily driver.

Take a cute pic or do a quick video here and there, and that's it.

Anything else, forget it.

It's same problems then... I'm just already so stuck with the software or pixel experience...if the 8 still has same heat issues...then it's to buy 7...but I'm really asking myself why I should buy the 7 because the problem is still there....so much momney for a phone that will heat up at the slightest tasking challenge
