nwahimakper: Gbajabiamila said he was a Christian in house on the rock church. Or is it chrislam he's practicing Your average Nigerian politician sees religion as nothing else but a tool to further their agenda. |

joseph1832: It's obvious this beer parlor approach to issues is what is killing this country.
Since it was pretty obvious Paseiro isn't staying, the NFF should have started looking for his replacement immediately. This is what any sane mind would do, even the NFF would do this, if the NFF is their own personal business, but since it involves government, this nonsense is what you see.
Also, these media outlets who like to twist people's words, should be called to order. I mean, just because they want to sell news, no matter how insane or falsely insane it sounds, they're willing to post anything. I literally just made a comment on some other topic along the lines of your last paragraph. It's a huge problem we're not taking seriously enough. The effects of fake news are disastrous. |
Politics › Re: Stop Parading Yourself As Son Of The Palace, Oba Of Benin Warns Akpata (Video) by GiulliameII: 7:28am On Jun 17, 2024 |
NaMe4: The report by the OP is quite misleading.
Akpata erroneously introduced himself as a son of the Palace. The implication of that statement was that a member of the royal family was contesting for Governorship.
Oba, through one of his aides, had to initially clarify if a member of the royal family was contesting for governorship before correcting him in a fatherly manner and even reassuring him he is a true illustrious, indigenous son of the soil.
There was no form of warning or dismissiveness toward Akpata.
In this present day and level of human advancement, politics should be played with maturity, decorum and facts. And not attempting to disseminate misleading information. I tell you. These days, it's so hard to believe what one reads on the net & news generally as truth. Sensationalism & want for views & likes will throw us inside hot water one day. |

Proserpina: Thank you for being insensitive. Insensitive? Far from it. It's an eyesore, a terrible thing to happen. OP's choice of words though... |

Extraterrestrial disposition is a really humourous term. Meanwhile, it's sad what's happened to her. |
