This is the first time, it has been done in years... We do not know how it will go, but I believe once you pay, a bed space will be allocated to you online, then you print it and follow further instructions...

You have to give it a shot, go to the clearance officer, let him know your fault, do not hide it from him. Let your clearance officer decide your fate. As for your GCE, when is it likely to come out?

I don't even know how that works anymore as a result of different decisions by clearance officers. Some will complain, others won't... If your name is RobinHez Gandaki Wike on waec, while on jamb Gandaki Robinhez Wike. I don't really think it matters, since it still spells your name fully, except for abbreviations like RobinHez G.W...

You can't use your online printout... If that's the only certificate you have. You have to wait then.

Yep... Your clearance officer might request for it. It differs for each faculty though... Make sure you have it, just incase and ensure you make 1 photocopy as well.

Following d gathering of documents for clearance,i went to my secondary sch to enquire abt my neco cert..bt dey said its nt ready,being dat i took d exam last yr.they said neco cert takes time before being released....pls can a statement of result work in its place?....

record file is 3K,you'll pay in first bank(pray say you no see queue). Then you'll take the teller to bursary department few metres from the auditorium,then you will be issued a receipt.
After you've been cleared and given eligibility,show your clearance officer the receipt and you will be given 6record files,you will then go and fill it(it looks simple and easy to fill it but trust me,it ain't,but not that it's that hard sha),you'll bring it back the next day for signing by your clearance officer.
After signing,photocopy all your files including your eligibility(this thing is just a paper but it's like a gold,you'l need it for many things ,so keep the original well) and your waec/neco result print out and put them in the record files.

Submit 3 record files at the admission office,1 at your faculty,1 at your department and keep 1(the 1 with your original documents) with you.


About the hostel,pay "hostel application fee" of #1K at unity bank,then #500 "SUG fee" at UBA abi na oceanic . . . Then photocopy the tellers and stapple the 2 photocopies with your eligibility(photocopy also) then go to student affairs to submit. . . When your name is out on any of the hostels,you'll go and pay 8K

It won't close... Just try to do it fast though so you can meet up with lectures.

lemme help out a bit.d record file is in form of a booklet but with few leaves.u'll be given about 5 or 6 of dem omo i don dey forget some of these things.ehen u'll submit them back but u'll be given 1 for ur sef.its nothing to wori about u'll fill details about pry sch,sec sch and ur ssce and so on,its nt hard.there is a department called bursary where u'll obtain receipt when u pay for ur record file.for hostel there are designated banks where payments are made.u'll be told d bank to pay for hostel

Record files are booklets that will be given to you to fill, about 6 or so. Bursary is in school, you can locate it alongside the school auditorium. Do not worry about the hostel yet as application is yet to begin.

Uniben is not doing so well in passing information.....it seems d only people wu can go ahead with online clearance,r those whose names came out on d first list..cuz i have looked for colledge pay in my student record,nd i dnt see anytin.......or iz der any 2nd 'lister' who has done his/her online clearance?
