I think Laycon has truly healed. You can't expect him to just shut Erica out completely if he truly ever liked her at all. There was something Vee told him that I didn't get, probably we weren't shown cos Laycon said Vee should have told him two weeks ago so he would have moved on long ago. Vee said he was hurting and she didn't want to add to his pain. Laycon said it wouldn't have added to his pain, it would have made him very mad and also move on faster than he did.
