hmmmmmm you are in a new site and there is no drainage? first do you want to use earthen pond or vast or trampoline pond? if you want to stock just 500 fishes it will be hard to use earthen pod because 500 fishes is too small for such ponds unless there are 3 to 4 months old but if you want to start from the fingerlings and juvenile you can make use of trampoline ponds and and transfer them to earthen ponds later..... you will definitely needs to create a drainage.water from fish doesn't smell like that unless you did take time to change their water for a very long time. if change the water regularly then the water wouldn't smell.2) well water cant be enough...if you truly want to do fishing then water must be available.. but if you get enough water during this rainy season then you can make use of this rainy season ans stock up your fish but note that you are in June and you need like 5 months now before dry season...

I APPRECIATE ALL POSTS IN THE HOUSE AND I PRAY THAT GOD WILL HELP EVERY ONE OF US TO THRIVE IN THIS COUNTRY. I AM INTERESTED IN FISH FARMING AND PLANNING TO START SMALL IF POSSIBLE WITH JUST 500 PIECES .I HAVE A SMALL PORTION OF LAND TO USE AND A WELL WATER IS ALSO AVAILABLE. BUT I HAVE TWO PROBLEMS WHICH I WANT EXPERT TO ADVISE ME. 1, I AM IN NEW SITE WHERE THERE IS NO DRAINAGE SYSTEM YET,NOW HOW DO I DRAIN OUT MY USED WATER TO PREVENT SMELL IN MY COMMUNITY. 2 THE WELL I WISH TO USE CAN GUARANTY ME OF LITTLE WATER DURING DRY SEASON BUT EXCESS WATER DURING RAINING SEASON. PLS ,I BEG YOU IN THE NAME OF GOD, I NEED HONEST ADVICE BECAUSE I WISH TO INVEST MY LITTLE HAD EARNED INCOME, THANKS.
