The PDP you are talking about is still the YPP in disguise. This is how it works.

At the state level, we'll vote YPP, at the national level we may vote PDP depending if the candidate is widely accepted.

You're correct, transport companies always make provision for repairs before the journey begins. Either there is a mechanic travelling with them or money given to the driver incase the vehicle develops faults.

The driver should be thoroughly investigated.
