This still boils down to our old system of education. In the western world, once your kids arrive late, the normal entrance would have been shut while your kids will pass through the reception and you will sign your child in, stating the reason for lateness through a computerised system. The standard of education in Nigeria is too wack and the quality keeps declining everyday. Hardly will you see any public primary and secondary school in Nigeria that can compete with their private counterparts in terms of facilities, exposure, training and quality of personnel. Nigeria govt( both federal and states) don't value education and health and that is why you see the rubbish they allocate as budgets for these two sectors compared to road infrastructure where they can easily siphon public funds.

You all should be thanking late President Buhari for taming MNK and the Finland Government for clearing the Ekpa case. Anambra state Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR won his re-election 21/21 landslide. It is very rare in the south east and can only happen if your people really love you.
