There’s more than one path to true education.
It’s about igniting the mind and sparking curiosity, not merely stuffing the head with facts, memorizing opinions, or regurgitating information to pass exams or get certified by certain stupid institutions.

You've nailed almost every major reason why the majority fade away after the shine wears off. BBN is basically a very loud, very temporary megaphone, if you don't have something strong to say (or sell) once the mic is taken away, the crowd just moves on to the next season's noise.

I'd add one more layer though: many enter with the wrong goal. Too many see BBN as the destination instead of the rocket boost. The ones who last treat it like a massive marketing budget they didn't have to pay for upfront.

They come out swinging with:

1. Pre-planned businesses (e.g., KimOprah's ventures, or how Tacha built her brand empire almost immediately)
2. Actual talent pipelines (Mercy Eke stayed relevant through music/acting deals + smart collabs)
3. Or straight hustle + authenticity (Phyna and Groovy are still somewhat visible because they kept showing real growth instead of just flexing)

But the standouts that truly broke the cycle for me are:
Tacha: turned controversy into a personal brand that's bigger than BBN itself now
Mercy Eke: first winner who actually built a lasting media/influencer presence
Laycon: used the intellectual/creative angle and kept dropping music + speaking gigs
Pere: (to some extent) acting roles keep coming because he had some foundation before

The rest? Like you said, it's usually 6-12 months of paid appearances, small brand deals, then silence until the "where are they now".

Hard truth: BBN gives you 90 days of free national visibility that 99% of hustlers would kill for. If you can't convert that into something sustainable, it's not the show's fault, it's execution.
