t is no longer news that Nigerian police this days harasses and intimidates the people they ought to protect by searching their phones and laptops forcefully without any complaints . The Nigerian police today tweeted that its Not Legal for Officers to search your phone without any complaints. This implies that Officers don't have any right to search your phone or laptop anytime, anywhere EXCEPT you're subject to suspect or under investigation of which they will duely inform you before the search.
