Our pastor asked us to build a DBMS for members of the church. The knowledge I have is from the lectures gotten from our lecturer and it is just QBASIC and FORREAN rhat we have done yet. Please I need assisstance on the best programming language to use and how to go about it. It will not be run from a remote server or uploaded to any host.

First thing to learn is when your body metabolism is best suited for reading. I find out that I easily get tired at mid-day when I read but do extremely well in the evening and middle od the night.
Also, if you want retention, never read a complicated subject without a well outlined jotter, jotting concepts, definitions, formulars and drawings. No your limits, dont say because your room mate reads for 3hrs straight up you will do thesame. Always have intervals when you read back what you have jotted in your own words and understanding. When reading learn to understand the concepts or idea behind what you are reading, you can do this by reading and understanding first-depending on how the writer sdtructures his sentences, phrases and clauses- sentences, clauses and phrases used to explain what is being read.
Finally, rest well before you read, it helps your muscles to relax and make you concentrate, eat food that will not make you feel tired or sleepy. Never read under stress or in a crowded place unless you want to just show off. Goodluck my friend.jotted in your own words and understanding. @Rhymz, thanks I really appreciate your tip.

I am a 100 level Engineering student. Please I need some tips on how to concentrate while reading and how to retain things when I read. I tend to lose concentration after reding for like 1 or 2 hours.
Pleas e any useful tip/advice will be appreciated.

If yu go 2 uniuyopume.org yu can only printout the result but if yu go to http://jamb.org.ng/ yu will be able to know if yu 'v been offered admission. Yu can also print out yur admission letter there but yu will have to buy a card from jamb office @1000. Hope this helps.
