FEDEARL UNIVERSITY OF OYE EKITI is becoming notorious for collection of illegal fees and a business center for the few. Despite collecting school fees higher than normal as compare to other federal Universities around, their acceptance fee of 100k stand out as the highest in the country where other government institutions are collecting as low as 35k for acceptance fee. FUOYE stood firm on 100k per student.
And just before that dust settles down, the school management is introducing another illegal fee called COLEDGE DUES of 125k for all the medical students to be paid annually. This is barbaric, extortioner and unacceptable.
In all of this, power supply in the school is zero, if they manage to put on generator for an average of two hours per day you will thank God and I wonder how they expect students to study effectively under such condition and lecture halls are nothing to write home about.
Let authority rise to the occasion and save our children.
