When the APC administration of Babatunde Fashola announced the award of the suspension bridge for about N29Billion that year, folks mostly from the south east made so much noise against the project. Several threads were opened on Nairaland to condemn the project just like they are doing to the coastal project now. However, they could barely wait for the bridge to be commissioned before they started using it to shoot films and documentaries. Now, both their messiah and his protege are using it to campaign in far away Anambra. By 2031 when the coastal highway is completed, don’t be surprised to see Peter Obi using it to campaign for his dead on arrival presidential ambition.
