When did you do your interview? I didnt do interview...I am asking if recruitment is ongoing..Have they done interview?

There was a reshuffle yesterday, check the official Nigerian senate handle on X (Twitter).

*SENATE APPOINTS CHAIRMEN, DEPUTIES OF STANDING COMMITTEES TO OVERSIGHT REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONS*

Following the assent of President Bola Tinubu to bills establishing development commissions for the regions in the country, Senate has appointed chairmen and deputy chairmen of standing committees to oversight the commissions.

Those appointed as announced by the President of the Senate Godswill Obot Akpabio are:

1. Senator Babangida Hussaini and Muntari Dandutse as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate committee on North West Development Commission;

2. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Senator Kenneth Eze are the Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively for the Senate committee on South East Development Commission;

3. Sen Titus Zam Tartenger and Senator Isa Jibrin are the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on North Central Development Commission;

Senate has also reshuffled leadership of some standing committees as Senator Abdul Ningi moved from Population to head the Senate committee on FERMA while Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan is the Chairman on
Diaspora and Non-Governmental Organisation, she previously heads the committee on local content.

Also appointed is Senator Garba Maidoki as Chairman Senate Committee on Sports development, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas is the new Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content, while Senator Victor Umeh is now the Chairman Senate Committee on National Population and NIMC having been moved from the Senate committee on Diaspora.

Nothing is happening in TCN for now.

You will be shocked when APL is out soon . Recruitment/replacement in agency in Nig depends on powerful your connect is.

To your questions ;
Customs , due to impunity and wide-level corruption and bribes. FIRS is sweeter if considering retirement benefits ,promotion with ease , career advancement ( you can even port over to institutions like; NSE, CBN, Accountant General's office, pencom, and a host of others ). FIRS is more suited for the corporate office, career-type of person .

Just my candid opinion sha. Some may disagree with my submission .

He is funny. How on earth can Customs recruit over 500k personnel? It is laughable. They stated it clearly...3900+ to be recruited

Everything is a scam to some people. You guys wont verify the source of information before tagging it scam. It was announced by Minister of Finance , Wale Edun..
