Last I checked only northern states offer some form of social benefits directly to their populace . These are mainly in agricultural subventions in seedlings fertilizers , pesticides , etc. You are also familiar with State funded weddings being organised by northern states. There are also scholarship programs for their people to study in places like Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

SW social benefits are tied mostly in free education and subsidized health care.

SS practice Social services by providing scholarship and bursary to indigenes as well as business loan grants to market women.

The only region that their governors never ever provide a social net or service is the SE.

Now since your governors are not willing to subsidize education or any other form of human developmental projects, why not get them to subsidize fuel for you ?

I believe Ikpeazu as governor of Abia was sharing Kerosine to his people.

Why not get Alex Otti to use the excess from removal of fuel subsidy to subsidize fuel across the state instead of constructing over inflated roads?

Since Otti is not using the money to fund social benefits for the poor, paying of Pensioners and has refused to pay the minimum wage to state and local govt civil servants but instead has been embezzling the money through over inflated road contracts that are the most expensive on the planet (#6b per km for a single lane asphalt road), it's only wise that you demand he subsidises fuel using state funds .

No law barrs state govt from subsidizing fuel.
