That is a school of thought not the absolute. Once u have an open mind u will get it. Recession is not just inflation. The hyperinflation we have today is cost push not demand pull. When interest are going up in difficult times, u have an economic absurdity via monetary policy. The TSA application albeit wrongly is a key contributor to our recession.
Economic agents are waiting on the sidelines holding up much needed funds all cos confidence is lost on the economy.
A crisis forewarned is a crisis to be avoided, managed and contained. SA just avoided recession due to policy and govt stability.
Where is the govt marshal plan to reclaim confidence?
NB: no hate anywhere just deep concerns by discerning citizens perhaps when the blind support for the president is cured, many will see beyond their noses!

With the level of untold hardship and high cost of survival in nigeria i keep wondering if its only happening down here alone cos the other neighbouring nations are not complaining atleast not as us here. Yet the present gonvernment keep iven reason why the hardship should continue while they live a lavish life but only "feel our pain" on twitter....thats appaling, and whenever they are confronted they quickly blame the last administration.. I'm no fan of the last administration but if this govt keep doing like this with no vivid game plan or working economic policies then they only succeed in making the past govt a " Saint "

AS A CONCERNED NIGERIAN with the look of things and happenings in nigeria i keep wondering why this present administration keep blaming the past govt for every single misharps but has refuse to acknowledge her own misdoings. Its like someone blaming his/her parents for being born poor instead of working hard to improve his/her life standard, "they don born u be say dey don born u notin u fit do about am" and i believe majarity of nigerians are in this conditions but many have buy their way out of poverty while others are still
There for funny/obvious reasons i feel for the average nigerian that wakes up in the morning with no hope of food or better life. I SMH for the many graduates pouring into the labour market with no hope of a job. I feel sad for that woman who have to suffer just to provide food for her kids. The list goes on and on

Well, everyone is entailed to his belief. The young man was using his ignorance of the story of christ to express his skepticism in christianity.

EducationBida Poly Lecturer Nabbed For Raping A 17yr Old Student by greencard(op): 11:33pm On May 09, 2016
Recent bill to criminalise lecturer-students sexual
relations may
well be having its
first casualty, even before it is passed into law, as a
lecturer at the
Federal
Polytechnic, Bida, is currently in police net for allegedly
raping a
17-year-old ND1
student of the institution.
The lecturer, Mr. Tony Ozineri of the Mechanical
Engineering
Department and the
Servicom Unit of the institution was said to have
offered to give the
student a
ride on Saturday, April 30, while she was buying fruits
outside the
school
premises.
Introducing himself and offering to give her a ride to her
house,
one of the off-
campus private hostels just outside the main gate of
the institution,
the
unsuspecting student had hopped in, not realising that
would be
her greatest
undoing.
According to sources who spoke to Nigerian Pilot,
instead of taking
her to her
house, the lecturer passed and headed towards Kuchi
Woro, a
village just after
the institution on the way to Doko.
“He drove her to one primary school building in the
village just next
to the
school. She became worried, asking him where he was
taking her
to but she
couldn’t jump out of the vehicle since he was on speed.
It was
when he got to
the primary school which was deserted and parked that
she began
to struggle to
get out. He however locked the doors and while still
holding her
with one hand,
brought out a condom.
“According to the student, it was at this point, while he
was trying
to put on
the condom, that she managed to open the door, got
out of the car
and ran,
but he caught up with her, beat her to a pulp and raped
her
severally without
using the condom any longer,” our source said.
He eventually left her on the floor and drove off.
She, however, was able to drag herself to the road and
sought for
help.
The victim, an ND1 Public Administration student, was
then rushed
to the school
clinic where she spent four days before she was
discharged.
Angered by the incident, students went in search of the
lecturer,
beat him up
before handing him over to the school security which
eventually
handed him over
to the police.
The police, it was reported, took him to the school in
hand-cuffs on
Monday,
May 2, and had met with the rector of the institution,
Dr. Abubakar
Dzukogi,
to confirm the status of the “accused” lecturer.
He was then moved to the State CID headquarters of
the Nigeria
Police in
Dutsen Kura, Minna, Niger State, where sources say he
will soon
be charged to
court immediately after the conclusion of investigations.
The rector, Dr. Dzukogi confirmed exclusively to
Nigerian Pilot that
the
unfortunate incident happened.
“It is true, it happened actually. The case is already with
the police.
The
management has directed him to face staff disciplinary
committee.
“Meanwhile, by the powers conferred on me, we have
suspended
him pending the
time he will face the committee.”
Confirming the incident also, the public relations officer
of the
institution, Husseini
Mohhamed Enagi told Nigerian Pilot that the institution
was aware
of the
“allegation” against the lecturer and had taken action
already.
“The matter has already been forwarded to the Senior
Staff
Disciplinary
Committee which has already begun action. As I am
talking to you
now, I can
confirm to you that before the end of today (Thursday,
May 5), he
will be
served his suspension letter and will be placed on half
salary until
the
determination of the matter, which is currently being
investigated
by the police.
This is in accordance with the rules of the polytechnic,”
Enagi said.
CrimeRe: Common Thief Vs Treasury Looter: Wrong Judgement!!!! by greencard: 12:38pm On May 05, 2016
neither of the TWO( common thief & treasure looter) is better than the other

a thief remains a thief and is bad and a looter remains a looter which is also bad

their end result both inflict pain on their victims

the only "badder" thing i see here is the society...the way they treat this two is not fair justice

if the manner and behaviourer pattern of society toward the so called looters didnt change..neither will the looters themselves think of changing
CultureOba Of Benin is dead by greencard(op): 8:38pm On Apr 29, 2016
The Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa, is dead. His death was announced by the governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole in a statement.“Our hearts are heavy, laden with pains and grief, at the announcement of the passing on to glory of Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa of Benin, our highly revered Oba,” Oshiomhole said. The Governor described the late Oba as” a distinguished Edonumero uno, an accomplished Nigerian, a seasoned bureaucrat, quintessential unifier, unique personage and exemplary Omo N’Oba, whose reign brought distinction, immense class, finesse and integrity to traditional institution in Edo state and the country at large.”“To us at the Edo state Government, he was our strongest supporter; both in his uncommon faith in our ability and his readiness to offer uncommon advice to sharpen public discourse in our shared commitment to transform Edo state. It gladdens our heart, therefore, that our revered Oba was alive to witness the positivetransformation of Edo state under his reign, and for standing with us through thick and thin in the course of making the Edo economy a treasure to behold. Being part of that eloquent history of transformation before his reunion with his ancestors gives us further reassurance that he will occupy a special pride of place in the hereafter.“We are enveloped with a deep sense of nostalgia that our great Oba, a great-grandfather, grandfather, father, uncle and iconoclastic royal father of exemplary carriage and conduct, who sustained the dignity of the average Edo mind, has joined his ancestors. We are, however, encouraged by the fact that another great son of the Great Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Edaiken N’Uselu, Crown Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, who is already showing manifest quintessential attributes of his great father, will step into his father’s big shoes.“Edo people will miss our iconoclastic royal father of the great Benin Kingdom. Nigerians and Nigeria will miss this great exemplar of aRoyal Father, an Oba of distinction and integrity. Adieu until we meet to part no more.”
