I don't know the truth behind all. Allegations but the way and manners matters are been reported we can learn from this issue...

1. Don't abuse your leader that occupy a seat you too can lead some day... Because the person is small compared to the seat he occupy

2. Nigeria is the world populous black nation and a member of the distinguished senate is saying the president of the senate is sexually harassing her... My people the disciplinary committee gave heavy ponishment to her because of the way she passed the allegations

The truth is, Akpabio messed up, may be because he feels the "you cannot do anything" nigeria syndrome.
Why suspend her harshly now. It was a wrong timing, whether he is guilty or not. Questions would be asked, especially if truly the laid down rules speak otherwise.

Yes, it hurts when people accuse you wrongly, but if you find yourself in such position, act wisely.

It’s a good thing it’s happening to the senate president. They should come up with laws to protect innocent men from false allegations.

Firstly, any accusation without tangible proof from the accuser should be considered false and punishable with imprisonment or fine.

Secondly, any accusation proven to be false should carry ten years imprisonment, no option of fine. When the accused can prove beyond reasonable doubt e.g. the case of Reno vs Natasha.

Thirdly, there should be a timeframe of when you can accuse someone, so the facts of the incident are still fresh and the accused can reasonably defend themselves. Any accusation from events that happened more than a year ago should be deemed false and punishable with jail time or fine.

Imagine how many men have lost their freedom or means of livelihood because they were falsely accused.

this is sentiment, you assume everything is against the man but in reality many women are abused and victimised more. Although I agree with you punishment for false accusation, but in reality when a when woman is victimised or abused she wouldn't know and prepare how to arrange for proof.... let's be human and reasonable, we have mothers and sisters too.

She claimed that he told her she should make her happy.... Apparently, Akpabio never asked her for sex.... Making someone happy could mean so many things.... Could mean, help me with contracts or Information.

Also, she visited him after he called her on a legislative matters after 7pm which she claimed took permission from her husband who was abroad at the time..... If Akpabio was sexually harassing her and with this exact boldness, she would have refused meeting him at odd hours. But she went regardless.

Again, all these things happened years back and she never spoke up. But just when she violated the house rules and was to be punished, she decided to bring sexual harassment as a defence tactics....

If a lecturer has been asking a student for a relationship for years and she refuses and later the lecturer fails her when she knows she wrote well, if she brings the issue of sexual advances would you say she is been manipulative?
Although i wasn't there to know if this accusation is true, one thing i know is that men can be very stupid because they want to satisfy their penis.....also to be fair, women are also very manipulative, they just bring out sexual issues for public sympathy.

Another issue is that Akpabio talks too much and carelessly, the other time he called her a club babe if im not mistaking, why do that when you know she is married, if you keep picking on someone it becomes suspicious. Zelensky should have gotten the signal that Trump isn't ready to spend a pence on any war without getting much more back. Israel paid the US big time for the missiles they bought. If Ukriane is also paying Trump billions, I am sure he will blast Putin, welcome Zelensky very well like he honored Natenyahu. But Zelensky still went ahead to persuade them to give him more fund to keep fighting. That's not wise.

This war isn't over yet as the next face is 100% politics and diplomacy. If I were Zelensky, I would meet with the EU as soon as possible to see if I could still use their financial support to quickly negotiate a cease-fire, and more importantly, to hold elections so that he could run for another term or fix his man there. The next election should be his concern to shut up most critics since he doesn't have his own money to keep fighting. One year preparation should be announced fast. He is buying 1 year to quickly write his legacy rather have it rubbished. Believe me, Moscow will stop everything cos they also will want to participate so as to install their own. Zelensky should use this strategy to buy time for him to save his integrity instead of being disgraced. EU will rally round him to fight the next war which is now internally and fully politically.

Zelensky might even get away without negotiating with Russia if he quickly organises an election. Moscow definitely will welcome the idea because they will want to eject him finally, and Zelensky can outsmart them and win or put his own there. And if he doesn't still win, he should move quietly out of Ukraine a man who refused to back down, but lost an election honorably. The next president can do whatsoever he pleases while he spends his life in EU with his honor intact and still pressing buttons as one of Ukriane's hero..rather than allow Trump mess him up. I don't even know maybe it's Biden that messed him up by providing him too much. Can't say.

Personally, I think the argument should have been done indoor, and then, all parties can just pretend with whatever they want to tell the press. Or maybe, Zelensky could even boycott the press to show his annoyance. I can easily say I dont support Trump and his vice for this, but who knows what Zelensky had pulled indoor initially?
